Sadly it does not read any Asian text yet, unless you have the Chinese version that'll only read Chinese and not the other Asian languages.

Some people are working on it, but it is voluntary so who knows when it'll be finished. Other than that, its a good and cool player and better than the Nano.

I would suggest iRiver Clix over the Sansa, why? Bigger screen and slimmer. I'm talking about Clix 2. The 2nd version is coming out with an 8 GB also. So if you can wait, then wait. After it's released, you could go to stores and check them out and etc. The functions are almost identical.

Best buy doesn't according to there website, dunno about in store.

Circuit City has one.

But it's the old version. So, if you finally decided to buy a Clix, wait for Clix 2 to be released or you'll regret for not waiting.

I'll spill you out on some notice, there's a great fan based forum for the iriver it's called Misticriver.
Here's the link to misticriver.

However, it also seems you are interested in the clix 2 gen! There's a brand new website that is exclusively for the iriver clix product. Check it out at clixhere.net

These will be of great help as you can buy the mp3 players much more earlier than the local retail stores.
These forms will also upload vital information on your new clix and great flash games too!
check them out.
