i know that there's a pinned thread, but i thought i'd like to make one regarding my thoughts and preferences.

i plan to study abroad a year from now (spring 08), and i've been thinking a lot about sydney or hk specifically. my thoughts are that sydney would be a whole lot of fun, a lot of things to do, and while hk i'm sure can bring a lot of that as well, there might also be opportunities to network. i'd like to meet contacts that might help me get into the banking realm there someday.

any thoughts on tradeoffs or personal experience? even though it isn't for a year, i think i have to decide on location in two days o.O
