Cardio Workout does it make your butt flatter?

im gonna start doing cardio workouts, mostly jumproping and jogging here and there because although im pretty skinny (gaining a few pounds would be lovely), i have some fat in my tummy. sad.gif and i guess losing some fat in unnecessary areas such as face, etc wont hurt either. but i definitely do not want my butt to get smaller/flatter. no, i do not have a big butt from genes so yes, i am worried that ill lose the fat in my butt. its not a flat butt either so i want to maintain it. please help, i know there are many workout junkies here! thanks smile.gif

by the way, if i jumprope and jog, will my legs and arms get skinnier too? no way would i want that either. sigh

If you just want the Tummy, u should just concentrate in that area, try doing crunches and using the big ball to do some waist area work out too.. Hula hooping would work too =)

it actually makes my flat butt looks better,
it's rounder, but not bigger, it's not so square-ish like it used to.

I read in "Glamour" that the first place that you lose weight is the back of your arms...

you can tone up your butt.. with some weird exercises, i rather not explain.
but i thought people like the booty. laugh.gif

I heard it does, I'm not sure if its true tho... But that's what my bf says, coz there was this woman in the gym where he worksout that does cardio in the treadmill for like 2 hrs and it made her body look overworked and has flat butt now

just do sit ups for your stomach. 25 before sleeping does wonders biggrin.gif

well i know that ab workouts and situps/crunches will define my tummy, but the fat has to be gone first. doing situps/crunches will define my abs, but it'll be hidden behind the fat. i think i have to lose the fat first in order for the abs to show. sad.gif

i say if you only want to lose weight on the stomach area ,
do ab workouts ^^
you can do thrusts !
they work wonders : )
if you don't know what that is than i suggest you do the "ab squish" LOL
that's what i call it .

i just tried but i KNOW you won't understand what i wrote so i erased it all LOL
but if you watch Turbo Jam infomercials ,
just watch the elite 11 moves she shows you ^^
trust me ,
you'll feel the burn in your abs : D

i dont think it makes it flatter..but it definitely shapes it to look better
