I have Windows XP and don't need to and can't download the USB Driver. Is there any way I can get around this because I can't even upload music into my mp3 because I do not see a "REMOVABLE DISK" icon when I open my "My Computer" Folder and therefore preventing me from putting anything into this mp3.

cuz if its an ipod u need to put it in disc mode then it will show up as a removable drive

First, state what kind of player you have.
If it's fairly new, the model not condition, then you don't really need to download any drivers.

^ya u usually just need to download the player for that kinda mp3...
