Actually you'd be surprised. I bought my mom a samsung mp3 player thinking of course it should support korean text but it didn't. In fact, I couldn't even port the songs over if it was in korean text.

I have a Samsung Z5 and it reads Korean text fine... when the language is in Korean. If you set your language in English, you get squares if your song titles are in Korean. But I'm not too fussy about whether the player reads Korean text.

What player did you buy?
The T9 does support Korean language and words. Although if you do have to set the language in Korean then that's just gay.
In my iRiver, the player supported Korean no matter what you set your language to.

Which one? Because I have the T9 and all I had to do was set the ID3 Tag to Korean.
btw, congrats Jang Pilmo. You'll love it <3

Yes, it does. I bought my brother a Samsung MP3 for his birthday and it can read Korean text.
