So I'm getting my dad's company's hp pavilion laptop which has a few scratches on the cover so I decided that I'm going to try skinit.com laptop skins to cover it up. Has anyone tried any laptop skins before because I'm curious to what they look like in real life. I don't know if it will look tacky or too "plastic"-y & fake but it better look good because it was pretty expensive o.O ($30).

I don't think vinyl looks too great when covering electronics.. and that is VERY expesnive.. in fact you can get a custom paint job done on the lid for that price.
