that is because majority of them are MIX... either with White/French/UK or other race.... some are mix because during the Vietnam war there were lots of solider over there and so lots of Thai ladies end up sleeping with these soliders and ended up having mix kid... not only that, Thailand use to be rule/control by France.

White mix thai... they are all either beautiful or handsome. It's a Fact, well for me at least.

I grew up in thailand and still live in thailand so i know, and some look chinese right? it's because they all have
chinese family background...

And thailand was never conquered by any country... except that part where japan came and built that bridge or something at kanchanaburi.

majority of thai actors/actresses are mix but most if not some of them have parents who are still married and together just like any normal interracial married couple here in america i.e tiger wood's parents. i'm thinking some mothers of these thai celeberities had to work for a living on grounds where there were white business men or soldiers and simply fell in love and had kids together but as we all know of madam butterfly similar circumstances happen (white male runs back home to start a new family with someone else). my point is thai women still have morals and standards and i'm sure they were criticized and brutally talked about from people in their community but they love their children regardless of who their fathers were and put up with all the cruelty around them but hey they made good looking kids and look where most of them are at right now.

Not all the actors/actresses in the photos are mixed. Perhaps they have a Chinese bloodline, but some of these are in fact 100% Thai, and still *gasp* surprisingly light-skinned. Take Aom Piyada, for example. Or Aump, Ouan, Tangmmo, etc.

I get annoyed with this generalization that Thai people must be mix when they're light-skinned. Stereotypes are >.<

I'm not saying that none of them are mixed - for Ann is half-white and gorgeous, but I'm basically saying that Thai people can be light-skinned without being interracial.
