I wouldn't go as far as say Itachi is supporting Sasuke but rather acknowledging the strength Sasuke has gained.

The newest chapter is such a ball-breaker. Hopefully next week we'll finally see who Tobi really is.

dam.. gotta wait another week. i wonder why sasuke was suprised seeing tobi's face (or just his sharingan). i hope its someone he's related too... and from the sound of it...itachi might have not been evil

Kishimoto really knows how to make my day sick. There is no secret revealed in a single chapter!
Okey that was enough drama for a day. Now the anime is releasing unseen characters in the manga.
Maybe the anime got too close to the manga and i'ts starting with the filling chapters again.

My conclusion: the manga is near to its end. The anime will fullfill the unconcluded mini-story arcs.
Oh, yeah. Sorry for talking about the anime.

The manga scanlations we read online are translated shortly after the Japanese raws come out. Its no where near being finished.

owh... Itachi is dead T_T . well, i can still drool over Sasuke. anyway, the part where Naruto called the guy "Aloe Vera", hahaha, just plain funny.

i dont know about translations but reading the raw...

For those who cant read japanese...トビ＝うちはマダラ : Tobi = Uchiha Madara

and to answer cutie and dudeman...i think for all we know kishimoto can pull an orichimaru...he was supposed to be dead and then all of a sudden he makes that random ~~pathetic~~ cameo during the uchiha fight
and honestly if jiraiya came back i wouldnt be surprised

jiraiya will probably pop up later in the manga being controlled by pein with his studded peircings
