LOL i have to agree on that. it was so sudden, i was startled.
i mean, why did they give us that convo now? sigh.
the itachi with tears is a awful, sad theme but reaching the cliche plot slowly...
i hope things move fast now.

i liked naruto's whole "if that's being smart i rather be stupid" line. it was cute. haha

My guess on what Itachi gave Naruto:

Some sort of "Kryptonite" jutsu to the Sharingan where using it will either kill Sasuke or render his Sharingan completely useless. Or it could be some sort of Eye Plucker jutsu Itachi developed so that it can steal Sasuke's eyes and render him dead or useless without Sharingan.

It has to be something devastating since Itachi says he hopes Naruto will never have to use it. So it can't be something simple as a Fire Element jutsu.

Plus maybe he gave Naruto some of his speed and agility for good measure.

sasuke can just make a lot of babies and that would be really reviving the clan

I cant wait for the next chapter of SASUKE.
Sasuke is so john teshing overpowered now, there's no john teshing way Naruto can even come close to stopping him. He has john teshing atomic sharingan or some mini cooper. Not only does he have those john teshing powerful eyes of his, his lightning attacks, he also has all of Itachi's powers including that giant impenetrable shield mini cooper along with that black fire mini cooper.

GOD DAMN.

He's killed all these top tier Akatsuki guys and can defeat armies. How the john tesh does Naruto even catch up? I honestly don't have a john teshing clue. I guess Itachi gave him some black vomit mini cooper, I don't even want to know.

Sasuke is such a john teshing badass too. Not only did he kill his brother, he's also going to destroy the john teshing Village his brother basically gave his whole life trying to save. What an bubble gum. Remember how he summoned that giant snake just so he could survive an explosion? I bet the snake was just chillin when all of a sudden he gets john teshing transported to a giant explosion then dies.

Forget Jiraiya's death, just wait until Naruto realizes that he might have to take out Sasuke for real...not that Naruto wouldn't feel so strongly about Jiraiya's death anyway. The thing is, Naruto's ability to make unrelenting promises is probably his cornerstone of life, heck, it's the one thing that allows him to keep his bonds with his friends. If for whatever reason he would have to cross the line and be forced to go back on his word...he would definitely crack. I think one of the main things in life when growing up is accepting that there are some things in life that you have no control over. That's not to say that you should stop believing that you can change things, but to relentlessly pursue something without paying attention to anything else is cause for long-term suffering. And Naruto will have to understand this, or at least show that he understand it, otherwise he would be a complete waste of a character.

Seeing as how Naruto is FINALLY back in the village (it's been a REALLY long time, hasn't it?), I get the feeling he will discover Jiraiya's fate very soon...hopefully.

haha i agree~i doubt kishimoto would make sasuke all that much stronger than sasuke...what's this anime called? yeah NARUTO...
hm here's a question...think sasuke will live or die by the end of the series? i just cant see him settling down and reviving the clan the fun and practical way
i think kishimoto is going to knock him off right at the end with several emotional chapters and naruto naming his kid sasuke...
