it feels like the nagato plot was wrapped up as quickly as possible (i.e. i don't like how that ended).
maybe kishi felt like it was dragging on for too long haha.

i dont feel that nagato ending makes much sense.

i mean he's been planning for YEARS on delivering his message of PAIN. and within probably a few minutes, he does a complete 360 and is all for peace now - all because of Narutos little rant on peace. seriously? i would have thought Nagato had much more resolve than to drop his strong ideals based on narutos justification that he believes in himself because Jaraiya believed in him.

why would he be so affected about Naruto's talk about Jaraiya, when Nagato himself was able to kill him off without much hesitation. Being affected by it now, just makes no sense to me.

why revive everyone else excecpt for Jaraiya? Wouldnt he be the first person to revive.

all this just makes me feel as if the whole Nagato arc didnt achieve much at all, everythings restored back to where it was before.

that was a little bit disappointing.
nagato's life ended just like that.
after all those chaos and all.
but at least konoha has returned to normal.
and yayyy for kakashi! it's not his time yet.

ok i like that everyone is alive but i just felt like i didn't have to read that chapter and everything would have still been exactly the same...? this is ridiculous. there's this guy who is like a HUGE threat to konoha, almost blows up the city and instead of dueling it out or something, naruto can change his mind by just talking to him?? what happened to the years of bitterness that piled up?

i just don't understand... i was so close to dropping this manga entirely after this chapter.. --''. i want this manga to END. i feel like the author is just dragging it out needlessly with random characters.

have not been in here for so long... the chapter was just all talk between the two pupils of Jiraiya... All along I always thought that Kakashi was alive... didn't realize he was dead dead... glad to see that Naruto hit a never somewhere in Pain's heart... glad to see that Pain still has a heart... I think Naruto just got a lot stronger after this talk... Now the big battle is coming... the 2 friends will meet and battle for sure.

That's because Nagato wasn't sure about the path he chose. He kept asking Naruto for an alternative option right? I think that's why it didn't take much for Naruto to change him.

That and I think that Nagato has always been a weak person. Not physically but mentally. Before Yahiko's death, wasn't he always the weepy one in the group? Yahiko had to tell him to shut up lol. After Yahiko's death, he had to take on the role of the leader but before that, he was always the follower even though he's the strongest of three. Even now that he's the leader of the Akatsuki, he's taking orders from Madara. I don't even know if the whole thing was even his idea in the first place or it's something that Madara brainwashed him with.

Total anticlimax. It was so obvious that Kishimoto was trying to get back to Sasuke. I only wish he didn't have to end another plotline so stupidly in the process...

Well, we finally have confirmation that Kakashi had died after like a BILLION chapters later. I swear, that deus ex machina Nagato pulled off makes the entire situation so damn laughable. It's like, "What the hell were we reading this whole damn time?!"

Laughable. Like, seriously, totally laughable.

And it ain't just Pain, it's the entirety of Akatsuki itself. They were supposedly so effin strong and so ominous and their hype, thanks to dear old Itachi, was massive even before Part 2 started. And yet they all get picked off like that. Granted, some of the battles with them were amazing, but they died way too quick. Nine seemed like such a big number back then, but geez...number dropped fast.

On the bright side, we can finally move out of the black hole that was Pain's attack on Konoha, and finally move on with the damn story.

I don't think everything's the same. Sure everybody who died in the attack came back alive, but Konoha is still in shambles.
