Seriously why would naruto even bother with sakura? So I hadn't read naruto for like 2 months and yesterday I read 9 chapters in one go and these were my thoughts:

Sakura faked confessed to Naruto! OMG! It was sooo AHHHHH!!!! It was so wrong of her and at the same time so admirable of her and Naruto is so awesome because he was able to see through it even though he really likes Sakura (so it must have been hard). I wonder what's going to happen now...

And the whole Moon Eye plan is crazy and random. Like, the moon is the body of that guy. Really? I have no idea where Kishimoto gets this stuff but wow.

Anyways, Gaara tried to talk some sense into Sasuke and he couldn't and he cried...that was sad. Gaara admires Naruto soo much it's amazing... (Temari and Kankuro were really awesome as well! ♥ )

And oh noes! Suigetsu and the other dude got separated for Sasuke and Karin! SuiKa is in danger! nooooo!!

Kakashi is practically like the new Hokage now! I can't believe Sakura told all the other Leaf nin her age she was going to fake confess to Naruto! (or that she was going to 'take care of Naruto') Kiba's expectations of how 'awkward' it was going to be was priceless.

Kisame is fighting Killer Bee and I have a feeling that if they could be friends they would get a long. (maybe...) I dunno, it's wierd how Kisame had like totally fallen off the radar and now he's back. And how he was randomly mentioned in the summit discussion. I feel he might switch sides...and become good. I don't know why. I may be way off.

Overall, I think it's kind of obvious Sakura was faking her confession for Naruto. And Naruto does like her, he just knew she was faking it and no one would say yes to a fake confession if they wanted to be a real relationship. I don't think Sakura is ever going to see Naruto in that way. It's just like Jiraya and Tsunade. If Naruto and Sakura ever get together it would be after Sasuke dies and after Sakura has many many MANY years to mend her heart. And even then it's a big maybe.

she's incapacitated (i think she's in a coma) due to the Naruto vs Pain battle. Pain literally destroyed Konoha with a technique that's the equivalent of a nuclear bomb (think of Deidara's final/ultimate bomb technique). She used up too much chakra with her healing banana slugs that were trying to heal up all the dying/injured people. Think of Naruto's kage bunshins but with slugs instead.

Yeah, I just read spoiler earlier today and it's getting really full of suspense!! I think Sakura is taking her little squad to find Sasuke, but I'm not so sure how well they'll hold up against Sasuke, Suigetsu, and Juugo. =/

Their best bet is to snatch Sasuke away while he's still weak! Kidnap him back!

Predictions:

Sakura's group gets destroyed, and she learns the truth that Kakashi told Naruto to hold back. After that it'll be copy+paste "if sakura_knows_anything_at_all = 1 {set sakura_emo TRUE;}" for 10 or so chapters, until Naruto comes in and slaps everyone around with a large trout and sets things right only to escape narrowly from death. Of course, this is brief and will be sustained for 1 or 2 chapters until Sakura declares something completely stupid and we start from square 1 again.

My syntax above is probably off. But you get the point.
