Just two really meaningful encounters and a deep conversation. Hell, this chapter only had 5 main characters total for crying out loud.

And Sasuke just seems a little too wide-eyed at Itachi's presence...I mean, I know you haven't seen him in forever, but geez, man, pull yourself together! *Shakes shoulders*

And I don't care if Jiraiya dies; he's like one of those people who still seem to be alive somewhere else even if he is dead. He's just too memorable that way.

I personally can't wait for the Itachi-Sasuke showdown. It's gonna be awesome. Bwahahaha. But I do agree with Nightmare that this fight is only to show Sasuke's growth and potential. There won't be any killing....as far as the Uchihas go. About others, I'm not so sure.

^don't be so relieved yet guys... some fans are still trying to deny it, saying that both kishi and apparently some translators are heavily implying without ever confirming it (meaning there's always the possibility of a sick twist). which is true. but i say at this point the evidence is too strong for kishi to suddenly turn around and say "well, even though i heavily implied in chapter 367 that yondaime is naruto's dad, not to mention dropped hints in preceding chapters, and made them look alike and act alike, guess what, he's not." but i'm glad some stuff is finally cleared up. namikaze minato, for one thing. should we stop calling him yondaime now? and naruto's mom. yea it might be bluehair akatsuki (or redhair now i guess) and right now i'm thinking the worst possibility is a twist where pein and bluehair are naruto's parents, eww. but at least he came from somewhere and not just this random baby they picked up near the lake or something. also, the impending death of jiraiya. sad.

and ohhh the uchiha vs uchiha battle. i'm wetting my pants. best chapter in a long time (and a few of the recent chapters have been pretty good).


*edit* now that i've had the chance to recover from omgwtfbbq and digest the chapter, i think i'm somewhat disappointed with yondaime's real name. i don't know why. namikaze minato, it just doesn't ring very nicely and doesn't quite say hot charismatic genius. good thing naruto ended up with his mom's surname though. i mean, namikaze naruto *snicker*

It has been confirmed! Yes! We know who the parents are ... finally!
Of course we've never met his mother but still at least we have a definite name.

And in response to losborrachos's post ... if it turns out that everyone tsunade and jiraiya implied in the chapter turns out to be the opposite of the truth ... I'll just die from shock. I've been waiting for the confirmation of my suspicions since forever!
