wellz here's what i think is gonna happen: jiraiya dies, i mean he even signed his contract off. the first uchiha/tobi is obviously gonna play a roll, as for him surviving, orochimaru was able to live and this guy is strong enough to summon the kyuubi so he was obviously better than orochimaru, and his roll... can't think of anything except maybe interfering with the fight between sasuke and itachi. naruto gets a power up (duh) and completes that shuriken rasengan. final confrontation would be naruto and pein as end of manga which is later after all ataksuki is finished off.

but i gotta say the guy is revealing information WAY fast now, i mean all these conversations about the past happening in the future would have been better said before naruto grew up. also naruto NEVER knew his father was the fourth? and the village didn't either? how stupid can they be? and what of his mother? possibly she's still kickin' and will make an apperance.

a possibility- since this week's chapter reveals that konan and pein were once jaraiya's students, yondaime must have been their teammate. Angry at kyuubi for the death of yondaime, maybe they joined akatsuki to avenge their old friend (by capturing kyuubi)? and then somehow turned evil and put revenge as first priority, to even beat down their own sensei if he gets in the way. just like how sasuke picked revenge over his friends and village, even if he had to beat up his best friend (planned on killing him, but changed his mind) though we know it is the curseseal that made him crave for power..

Finally caught up to Uchiha Madara.

I only got one complaint and confusion tho ...

How come no one in Konoha knew about Minato and Kushina? I find that rather impossible especially when Minato was the 4th Hokage. But Kushina was from a different country so was their relationship secret/forbidden?? Romeo x Juliet?? Whhaaatt?? I really hope they do an arc that answers the questions around Naruto's parents.

As for the questions of whether anyone knew about Naruto's parents, I believe they'll be answered when Naruto himself asks about it...after all, they're HIS parents, and until he starts knowing and asking, not much will be said about his parents, because, after all, no one else apparently knows, right? That is, unless Jiraiya goes off on yet another internal monologue regarding their pasts (he is probably the one who knows the most about Naruto's parents anyway) and he would probably do it soon, especially if he IS going to die soon.

And about Tobi being Madara or Obito... yeah, Kishimoto basically flat out said Tobi was Madara. =_= But I don't know. It wasn't too clear, but many, many hints point at him being Madara. =( If it was Tobi then that'd be one wicked twist to the story.

I want him to be Tobi, though. >_< Ehh.

^dude, that picture is from the gay anime, so kishi never colored that. in the manga, we never know the kid's hair color, any dark color is fair game, including blue.

also, why's everyone assuming pein is the fat kid? first of all, naruto calls jiraiya "sensei", this doesn't mean he's in jiraiya's gennin team. second of all, if pein is swapping bodies, again anyone is fair game. for all we know, kishi may have in fact pulled a vader and pein is yondaime.

yes, konan's blue hair has been accepted as canon because of that picture (probably the most-discussed picture in the history of naruto). that's why everyone referred to her as BH or bluehair before her name was revealed a couple of chapters ago. but my point was that DanTat was questioning the konan = yondaime's gennin teammate due to the fact that in that screencap from the anime, yondaime's teammate has brown hair. ergo my response is that kishimoto never colored the anime and the screencap, so for all we know he could've intended for yondaime's teammate to have blue hair, like konan does in the akatsuki picture.

if konan is indeed the gennin in question, this is likely to be the case. another thing that might have factored into this is the probability that when they got to that point in the anime, kishi simply hadn't thought the character konan through, so he was chill with the brown hair back then. either way, the brown hair is not canon in the manga.

at this point i hope pein = minato in disguise rather than fat kid, cos i mean, i'll probably sound so shallow, but fat kid does NOT look badass at all. and pein is like badass no. 2... after tobi.
