Anyhow, how could anyone be disappointed in this chapter? I hated naruto for a long time after the spoilers, but this chapter singlehandedly brought back some of the author's integrity as a storyteller.

haha does that mean your a fan of one piece or not a fan? i honestly have to say that out of bleach, naruto, and one piece, one piece would have to be my favorite. it balances out comdey, action, drama very well, imo. if it goes on til the next decade...then so be it!

anyways, i do agree with you that i wasnt disappointed in the chapter. it sucks the J man had to take his last breathe...kinda sad actually...but i thought of it as it pushes the story forward some more. add something that can spice up the series.

btw epi 40 was a totally waste of time. i felt like i was watching a dbz character powerup for a full week of episodes.

i liked the chapter but was frustrated at the same time. it really didn't accomplish much. we got really nothing. sasuke vs itachi took like the babiest step towards actually starting and konoha vs tobi took like one step forward and one step back.

yeah, we barely saw tobi. the only thing pein said was "madara ordered me" which is essentially what tobi said all those chapters ago.

the 17 pages are divided between like 3 storylines so we basically didn't get much. it's really sad that jiraiya died, but come on, we all knew this was coming since like 20 chapters ago, so i feel like i've been well-prepped for it.

but yeah, i feel like we should just focus on itachi-sasuke for the next few chapters. god knows i'd rather see that than naruto trying to use his "ninja way" jutsu on tobi.
