Looks like I was right. I saw it coming a mile away. There is a 3rd technique called Susano. Since the other two were ninjutsu and genjutsu, I'm going to guess Susano is some sort of Taijutsu. If they went by legend, Susano(Itachi) is supposed to defeat the snake(Sasuke).

i liked how Sasuke got so pissed off for actually believing that Itachi supposedly died. I did almost feel slight sympathy and relief when Sasuke yells out, "I did it!" I think that one statement alone reveals the child still within him and how no matter how cool he passes himself off as, he still feels the same things as everyone else, and when he shouted out that statement, I almost felt like he sounded genuinely happy and enthusiastic for once, and that made me feel like there's still hope for him.

...Of course, this is all in direct contrast to everything I've said AGAINST him thus far, hahaha. But you can't help but feel for Sasuke at that moment, and you feel for him even MORE when, in the contrasting moment IMMEDIATELY following afterwards, it turns out that Itachi hasn't even died, and instead pulled out one of the sickest looking jutsus ever seen. I think what makes this jutsu even cooler was Itachi's eyes. It's no longer the typical sharingan or mangekyou sharingan that he's been using for the longest time, and yet...you KNOW that his eyes are definitely different (unless Kishimoto just didn't feel like blackening his eyes in or whatever).

Is Oro making an appearance? I think he's about to pop out. Can't decide whether I'm happy or not about it though, I only know I'd rather see him than Kabutomaru.

(I apologise if I offended/blinded anyone with Sasuke's CS2. It still manages to be one of the fugliest things I've ever seen.)

His eyes are like that because he deactivated his Sharingan before. I'm assuming he didn't reactivate them.

I was referring to the 'eyeliner' around Sasuke's left eye. It resembles Oro's eyes.

It seems mostly for cosmetic purposes, but...ya never know, i guess...could potentially mean something later...

oorrr how about this lol, orichi sneeks out of sasuke when he finally defeats itachi and when sasuke leaves, orichimaru take over itachi's body and kills zetsu in the process xD

how? sasuke obsorbed some of orochimaru's powers, not his whole body. maybe the curse seal has that effect on its bodies? that would be freaky

kabuto is the one who has fused himself with parts of orochimaru.

Not just his powers...Sasuke basically absorbed the ESSENCE of orochimaru, save for his actual physical body. That's Kabuto's of course. It's just like Sasuke said, "I've taken over." Even Kabuto realizes this.

Now that I think about it, it seems more likely that Sasuke's physical appearance will gradually adopt certain additional physical characteristics of Orochimaru, as opposed to Orochimaru actually seizing control over Sasuke's body...that's not to say that there's no chance of the latter being a possibility, I'm just saying that there is a better chance that Sasuke will look more like Orochimaru than be like him.

I think kakashi told him about it when he tried to seal it awhile back. I too have forgot what he said exactly, LOL. now I am going to think about it all day since its kinds hard to find that chapter with my phone

Once the cursed seal is applied, the applicant stands a 10% chance of survival and they lose consciousness as their body accepts or rejects the seal. Should they survive, receivers of the cursed seal are given access to the seal's first level. When activated the seal's unique pattern spreads across their body from the point of application; the more body coverage there is, the more the user is drawing upon the seal's effects. The seal forcibly draws chakra from the user's body and grants them with increased physical abilities, though consequently leaves them exhausted once the seal is deactivated. Their mind slowly corrodes while the seal is active, opening them to Orochimaru's influence and simultaneously advancing the seal to its second state.

Advancement to the level two of the cursed seal is a long process, so long in fact that Orochimaru developed a special drug to speed up the process. Once level two is achieved, the user can enter the state by fully covering their body with the cursed seal. This is followed by an unnatural alteration of the user's body, with the only common features being yellow eyes with a black sclera. Aside from the first and second levels of the seal, skilled users of the seal are able to perform partial transformations in which level two state can be accessed without completely altering the entire body. The power of the cursed seal can even synchronize with the user's regular body with extended use, increasing the power of his/her natural state.

Basically, the more someone relies on a cursed seal, the more he loses himself and succumbs to Orochimaru's will. However, Sasuke did use the cursed seal and Sharingan to overcome Orochimaru.

I always thought that after Orochimaru died the curse seal would be ineffective, because what's the point of...

But then he didn't exactly die, so maybe it still works as long as his 'essence' lives on. If this is the case, Sasuke should develop side-effects from using his curse seal a lot. Perhaps the way it seemingly activated itself in the latest chapter is one of these effects, along with his Oro eyeliner.

Regarding Sasuke using CS to defeat Oro... I think this is just Kishi playing with/forgetting his own rules.

Either Itachi's eyes are an effect of Susano-o, or he's finally gone blind.
