I love DBSK. To me, they're pretty childlish and it's cute. Yunho oppa & Micky oppa =) I'm starting to like Xiah & Max more now because they're sooo cute! Esp. in their Dream Vacation drama haha. Yunho's drama was pretty sad since the girl died at the end. But anyway, DBSK has got to be one of my favorite boy band =D Loveeee them<3

Oh man Ok I am gonna appear so biased towards DBSK when I say this, but I find it an insult to them when their merchandise gets pirated. I'm normally pretty neutral, but we've all seen how hard DBSK works for their albums and performances. I was gonna get my sis to buy all their albums from Singapore and send it over to me here (cuz its cheaper like that, and it's easier to find their albums there vs in Melbourne). Where's pacific mall? Isn't there an international crackdown on pirated merchanise now? Can't someone report this shop to the authorities?

I sorta don't blame them for it... I mean probably they don't know themselves but their just making money to support their living. Fans should be more aware of how pirates look and stuff. There are many pirate stuff going around but from wat I know...china sorta do alot of those but not much people get caught much. sometimes when fans goes desperate and see DBSK things they jus jump to get it without thinking, so fans pleaseeeeeeeee be careful next time. But i sorta don't blame them since the price for dbsk stuff are really high in like online sites. SM sure knows how to make money out of people. that's wat I think about the situation...its sorta not anybody fault...at this type of situation jus fans need to be really careful when it comes to buyin stuff around places. One good way to recognize if its pirate or not is some pirate don't have the SM label on it, it has to be an shiny SM sticker on it or Avex [japan company dbsk works for] is on it. and the color of how the thing looks. if you want to be really sure, u can check online to see if they release those type of things b4 buyin it jus to be safe.

and the difference between the HK version, Japan version and Korean version is that inside the cds it has lyrics but for instance the HK and Taiwan album will also sometimes include the chinese lyrics in there for the album, or there will be like less pictures of the guys from their orginal album or more...or different [but that's rare] and also what company is releasin it. Different companies import DBSK cds to different places. like HK they have a company they have the copyrights and privilege to sell the guys album within around that area, and Japan have their own company to export DBSK album under their name. so its jus the company difference... that's pretty much I notice on the difference of the album. Yesasia carries all of them so the fans can get a choice on getting an album release in japan orignally from Avex company or from other exported places mostly HK and its a bit cheaper than the Japan version wayyy more

^ i think Avex releases all their CDs outside of Korea. so if its not an avex cd, then its probably fake. & i think you're right about the lyrics thing. my version C cd for 'O' was a taiwanese copy, & it had chinese lyrics in it too. but it was on this little white slip, separate from the main package. i think its just cos people in taiwan wont know how to read korean..

Mel, oh, I don't personally have a problem with boybands in general. It's like you said, there's a negative conotation associated with the word "boyband." It sounds immature, and I don't know, un-appealing. I remember the first time I heard of this Korean boyband, and I admit that I cringed a little bit. I guess I don't like DBSK being labeled a boyband because they are so much better than other boybands out there, but yet they're placed in the same category. You get what I mean?
But it's no doubt that they ARE a boyband, everything they do is planned out by others, which is a total shame.

Haha okay so I went to read the article and it was even commenting on how the HiYaYa video with the 'love scene' at the end was 'gay' and he went on to talk about Boybands being Gay (you know, the usual crap. Prancing arond, can't sing, can't dance, etc etc) and I guess that we as fans should just ignore such articles. The guy is just trying to stir up some controversy and attract more attention to his blog (whether or not it is positive), and what better way to do it than declare Korea's most popular vocal group "gay"?

Well if DBSK was 'gay' we wouldn't be liking them much anyway.. -.-

Boybands have and will always be stereoyped as having only looks and no talent and being gay etc, and initially I wasn't a boyband type of person at all. Talk to me about typical boybands like those from the Taiwan wave etc and I'll really shudder, and initially when I heard of DBSK as a Korean boyband I wasnt very interested either, until I discovered that they really had talent ^^

I'll love for them to break free of that 'Idol group' of 'boyband' label but yes, there's no doubt that they're 'manufactured' as previously mentioned, SM really does plan all their schedule, activities, performances and all that for them.

I just hope that as time goes by we wil be able to see more of the 'musician' side of DBSK- making their own songs and wowing all of us (: Like how Jay Chou is respected as a really talented musician....

Who else has watched the MNET TVXQ Golden Age clip (here)?......it was nice to see vids of how the boys were in the past until now....it's like nothing much has changed except for their looks...I like how the members described yunho the best....If I read the chinese subs properly, Junsu was saying how Yunho cares for him a lot..how he'd look for him if he was not there for even just a few minutes....he'd ask "where's xiah?" and go find out where he is no matter what and then leave together...awwww..(can see this side of YH during their Gyao interview also)...and then there was JJ's comment about how Yunho doesn't like any of the members to escape from his hand..hahaha...trying to tease him...can tell even back then how much Yunho loved them...and I'm sure that love has grown even stronger as time passed=)...by the way, anyone know what event they were doing when Yunho was dancing solo with the red hat?...this was the hat that I was reminded of when I saw changmin's at their 2nd concert..hehe.

I also liked the part where JJ tried to do this sexy pose and ended up smiling and turning away from embarassement...that was like one of the cutest JJ moments ever!....haha.

another halarious moment was when Micky was doing the Rose impersonation from Titanic..."come back...COME BACK!"...wahaha!

anyways, I loved a lot of the clips they chose to show...JJ's talkativeness, YH's fatherly side, Micky's dorky side, Xiah's and Changmin's cute side...hopefully someone will be able to sub this into english=)

i think micky is ambidextrous because he has the ability to use his left and right hand with equal ease or skill.
i guess he uses his left hand to eat and his right hand to write...

Back in 2005, i was pretty sure that micky was/is left-handed...cuz i noticed that he used his left hand alotttt. like when carving his ring & fishing in onryu..to scooping food for the aged or orphans..i don't remember. but my friend was arguing that he signs with his right hand. Somehow i managed to tell myself that he just writes with his right hand that's all. He uses chopsticks with his left hand too^^ however, i noticed that sometimes one of the boys would also use left hand for chopsticks , so i was like O.O Koreans can use both hands to hold the chopsticks that well? haha. Esp these pics. vv I'm so so glad that someone in this thread mentioned bout yunho, yoochun and micky being leftiessssssss wheeeeeeee. i have a thing for lefties too (yeah i'm crazy)
