Well, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a scratch remover for phone screens and ipods. Preferably a two in one. I looked online and I saw "Displex Scratch Remover" but I wasn't sure if it would work on my phone (LG Chocolate - not the verizon kind). Thanks

It's a really old thread but anyway, I bought Displex today.
My Sony Ericsson W660i used to have got a deeeep scratch >.>
But after applying this "Displex" and after rubbing this stuff round about 5 minutes on my display, it's gone :DD
I was super happy lol. Acutally I read comments where ppl wrote "Don'T use it for Sony Ericsson cellphones, it'll get even more scartches." But I still did. And it worked. yay^^
But I dont know if it works on your LG cellphone.

I haven't tried tabasco sauce yet.
but just to let you know, Displex doesn'T work on every display.
I've tried to remove some scratches on my sis's cellphone/display, but unfortunately it went bad and it got even more scratches
But actually it works the most of time^^

I have not tried those, but generally those are polishing compounds. They are like those facial scrubs where its like a paste with little rough stuff in it which is why toothpaste is often considered a possible alternative to buying the scratch remover stuff. (toothpaste often has stuff like baking powder in it to help whiten teeth and stuff and that can act like a slight abrasive to polish things down)
My dad has a bottle of PlastiX by Maguire thats used for polishing out scratches on plastic for cars but I use it on my stuff anyways. Depending on how deep the scratches are some times you need to use a very very fine sand paper (like 500 grit) with that you have to sand it down to the deepest part of the scratch to make it smooth again... then use the polishing compound to polish it until it gets shiny again.
That thought has always scared me, to sand plastic until its foggy to polish it back but thats how its usually done.
For lighter scratches clean towel + polishing compound can usually buff out scuffs. One thing to keep in mind is the stuff in polishing compounds are usually diminishing, meaning its rough when you first start wiping and it gradually breaks down until its pretty much smooth and gone. If you add more polishing compound the process starts over again to work the rough down to smooth.
iono I just felt like typing
