My case doesn't come w/ any cable to plug into the audio headers on the mobo so the three audio holes on the mobo (the ones below the usb and ethernet) doesn't work. I bought a sound card and plugged the speaker in and it still doesn't work. What else is there to do? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

If your motherboard came with onboard sound built-in, you should disable it first in the BIOS. Second, you need to install the drivers for your new soundcard.
Assuming you've already done both of those things, just make sure the volume is turned up. Make sure your speakers are turned on if they're the kind that require you to plug in a power cord. Some speaker sets come with a subwoofer and the volume control for your speakers may be located there or on a separate cord. If so, turn that up as well. Then lastly make sure you're plugging them into the right port on your soundcard. Since most soundcards nowadays have outputs for front and back speakers, maybe you've got them plugged into the back speaker port instead of the fronts? Try plugging them into the other port and see if you get any sound. I'd open up winamp, play an mp3 then start plugging your speakers into each port until you get sound out of them. Good luck.
