I need a program or player that'll play .TP files. Any suggestions? Will I need an encoder/decoder for it??? Thanks in advance.

VLC Player can play Transport Stream (TS & TP) files.
Also ANY media player can play them if you have DVD playback software on your computer. That is because most TS & TP files are in the MPEG-2 format and the codec for it is included when a software DVD player is installed.
Plus if you want to edit the videos, HDTVtoMPEG2 is a free program that will convert the TS & TP files for you into standard mpeg files.
