im praying that the curve for the spanish exam will be generous since this is the first time that theyre doing this new version.

I feel like I've wasted so much money on a stupid test that most colleges don't even accept, and on courses that I'm already getting college credit for.

I really want to opt out and get some of my money back. Has anyone else done that?

Haha, it is a waste of money in the end to take the exams imo. Most people get 1's and 2's (mostly cause they slack off). Maybe 3 people had 4's. I can't name anyone who had a 5 to be honest in my classes. I did alright on the exams; I had 3's and 4's but I just retook the college classes [in college now junior =)]. You find out that AP classes aren't that advanced after-all o_O.

College = more in depth + faster pace. So much isn't covered in AP and you'd get screwed so hard if you waived those credits and didn't take the class for that reason. Thrown into a really hard class =p.

hey guys,
i was just wondering...anyone taking the Japanese Ap test? I'm taking it this thursday.
this is the first year that the japanese ap test will e given out, so i'm making part of history cool^^

and i have apush on friday and english on wednesday.
i'm real nervous for the new essay thing that they say is going to be on the ap english test. i did a sample one in class and it's kind of like a dbq, but it's called a synthesis essay.....

Im freaking out for APUSH. At the moment, I'm writing down all the presidents names and writing about what happened during their terms like any rebellions, tarriffs, anything important. Ah Freaking OUT!

i bought the barons exam review book and realised that it doesnt help me at all -.-

Many ppl swear by the REA review book for APUSH, but I used the Kaplan review book. It has mini tests after each chapter, and the review is in paragraph form. I read it once over and highlighted important stuff. It helped me get a 5 on the exam, but I really don't know how I got that score. I felt like I completely bombed it. I took it last year btw.

I suggest you get the princeton review book for world. im taking it next wednesday too. but ... if you didnt get it already id recommend you to order it from barnes and noble rather than amazon even though its cheaper because for some reason amazon took a FACCCCKING long time
(a week and a half) to get mine to me. i was pissed off beyond words.

the book is fairly easy to read too. it kinda interesting. and it has practice quizzes as well as test strategies. =D

Does Ap testing score affect your college acceptance?
like you got a 1 or 2..... would that increase your chance that they'll revoke your acceptance in july?

hey you took both too! haha i thought stat was so easy wow. our teacher's mc was so much harder. i pretty sure i got a 4 =]

spanish was ridiculous. even the native speakers in my class thought it was hard >.<
i suck at speaking spanish. the easiest part was the fill in the blank parts and writing

i do good in ap history (apush XP) but ughh i dont want to take the ap exam. our teacher was suppose to have a dual credit license this year but she turned it in too late >:[. id rather take dual credit so i can get 6 hrs of college credit vs. having to make a 5 on the ap test to get those stupid 6 hrs. the FR was a joke. im expecting the curve to be very generous this year because everyone i know said it was hard...even the ridiculously smart kids in my class. the multiple choice wasnt too bad, but wow the FRs really killed me. =/
