since ur a senior, i'm not sure how much it would matter. my guess though is that it wouldn't b/c if you completed AB, that means you have to repeat the course anyway to get the full credit for the course. since it's only 1/3 of what calc is. check with ur schools?
i would honestly just take it unless ur taking like 5 other APs along with it.
AND WOW. $22 ONLY?!
ours is $95. --''
My school's fee is $86. What does it change so much from school to school?
the price is difference is huge.

i heard the cost is determined by which district you live in and how much money they have or something..
yeah.. so when i needed the money for the AP tests i was like "dad can i have $425 (or something) in check for my ap tests?"
my friend's school takes it for $5..

I looked at the AP manual and it's $86 so yeah.. I get it for $22 because I'm in the free and reduced lunch program.

uh if you flip back literally like 2 pages. u'll find the answer since i asked this exact question 2 pages before.
BUT.
5 steps to 5 and barron's. i'm working on barrons' right now. chapter on stat's was like impossible to pass but it does a good job as usual. and i've heard lots of great stuff for 5 steps to 5. so i'll probably either look over it or just to the practice tests.
EDIT --
i lied. one page.
so... am i getting ripped off for my AP prices? the school is probably pocketing the money or something. hmph. $95 dollars though is ridiculous.

What is it like?
Well...that depends on your teacher. Because my friends at other schools, their AP Chem class is "easy" - just need to do a lot of independent reading and studying.
However, my teacher is one of those that actually gave a crap about you and pushes you SUPER hard. The AP exam for chemistry does not allow the usage of a calculator for the multiple choice and is TIMED - so if you're good at mental math, it will be to your advantage. AP Chem is harder than AP Bio and AP Physics because it combines BOTH math and explanation (for FRQ section). If you're not good at explaining, then you're screwed. So because of that, my AP chem teacher makes his exams like that...
My senior year sucks because of this class. Haha.

Yea $95 is ridiculous. =x
In my school, it's around $86 I think and there is like a late fee that is outrageously high. x.x

ahh, i'm in major need of an awesome review book for stat too. i guess i'll check out barron's.
does anyone know if 5 steps to a 5 is a good review book for AP Lang. & Comp.?
i randomly found that book lying around my house, untouched from when my sister bought it for her exam two years ago, haha.
i think i'm on the road to getting a 1 for that AP exam, because of my dumb, inexperienced teacher.
yesterday, she gave us a worksheet from this sketchy site, "grammar girl",
about the difference between words like "whose and whom" or "whether and weather."
yes. this was in an AP CLASS. seriously, i laughed.

5 steps to a 5 was pretty helpful--my teacher asked us to get it so we worked with it in class some too.
but i don't know...i can never really prepare for an english exam haha but that's just me.
is anyone else in music theory? because it's just kicking my arse right now. .____.

sorry for the late reply but i bought it from amazon. i recommend you buy from AMSCO official site though. i believe it's cheaper there.
i'm scared mini cooperless for APUSH. i actually think i can get a 4 or 5 since i got a 2 on AP world even though i bsed through the whole year. i've studied my butt off for APUSH this year but idk. one month left..not a lot of time to prepare. we're taking the mock test monday and tuesday. hopefully that gives me some indicator of how well i'll do on the real one.
does anyone take AP spanish? i took the mock test last week and it was horrid. totally kicked my ass.
