anyone have suggestions how to study for the AP Statistics?

man I have SATs and 2 AP test all in the first week of may =(

I am on the same boat.
You know they release the 2002 exam.
You should try to take it.
Then whatever you don't know go back and study those chapters.

I have a question...

So for studying for APUSH (or the SATII US History exam), is it enough to just read the AMSCO and not reread the American Pageant?

yes, it is more than enough to read AMSCO and not The American Pageant. AMSCO will get you easy 750-800 on SAT 2 and 5 on AP test if you study adequately...don't even worry about that, haha.

Currently I'm a sophmore and I'm deciding what classes to take in the following years.

1. In Bio AP, are there many mathematical formulas required? (Math isn't my best subject)

2. Could anyone recommend a good Bio AP book? (There's so many! I can't decide which o__o)

3. I might be taking an afternoon Graphic Design class from 3:45-6:45 next year from Monday-Thursay afterschool along with my painting class on Friday.
Should I take Bio AP next year then (my only AP class btw)?

4. Is it considered better if you take AP/honors classes in Junior year?
I might have to hold them off till senior year if I have a busy schedule next year. x__x

5. How is the workload for Psychology AP on a scale of 1-10?
Because I might end up taking Bio + Psychology AP in senior year.

Thanks in advance! smile.gif
I know I'm not a hardcore student but I honestly want to take several AP classes.

#1 - no

#2 - cliffs AP is the godsend for AP Bio. TRUST ME. cliffs AP is the most amazing thing, ever. i owe that book everything.

#3 - yes, if you discipline yourself reasonably well and make sure you stay caught up with bio. don't fall behind!

#4 - yes, it is considered better if you do reasonably well. if you don't do well, then it's pointless.

#5 - AP psychology is the easiest AP class as far as I know. but if you want a 5 on the AP test and an A in the class, you will still have to do some work. therefore don't slack.

oubliette, thanks for answering all my questions! smile.gif
I was actually thinking of getting Cliffs since I read so many good reviews on it so thanks for the recommendation~
I think I might just end up taking the classes in senior year though because I don't want to fail + do bad in my outside classes. T__T!
All I hope for is that it works out in the end~ lol. Hopefully my senior year won't be too bad XD

Does any AP U.S. History share my pain or

^ I share your APUSH pain.

And so far I've only read one chapter of the AMSCO... sleep.gif And I'm taking the SAT2 US History and MathIIC on May 2nd. (And I don't remember a bit of precalculus since I learned it last year..) I think I'm going to do a crash course 72hr APUSH study this weekend. Haha

I'm taking AP world hist. atm and I don't think its incredibly hard, and the workload is okay for me.
I've had a B+ in that class ALL the time, but I'm not much of a studying person... I just depend on what I learn in class.

From what I hear, APUSH is like.. super intense...

Do you think I would survive.. or die if I took APUSH?

^ APUSH should be fine as long as you keep up with the reading. hahaa. Because there's about 40 chapters you need to get through in the whole year. I barely ever read the American Pageant the whole year so that's a little bit of a problem for me, but I still scrape off with A's.

hey APUSH people with the AMSCO book: do you guys know where i can get the answer key for the practice exam at the end of the book?? i found the key for the mini quizzes at the end of each chapter but i've searched everywhere for the answers to the practice exam and i can't find it.

on another note, i actually passed both the APUSH and Spanish mock AP tests and its comforting but i don't wanna be overconfident and bomb the real tests T_T
i think i'm only gonna focus on APUSH. gave up on spanish since my teacher is retarded and is making us do a project totally unrelated to spanish class... and env.sci i don't really know how to study for that so just gonna wing it.

Any tips on how to study for USH SAT II's? I'm reading REA and plan on taking some practice tests a few days before next Saturday (May 2nd Exam). Will that be enough to get me close to an 800?

AMSCO Practice Test Answer Key.
^ that should work. if it doesn't, just let me know!

so...it's about a week before the AP Stat exam, and couple days after that, the APUSH one.
finishing AMSCO seems impossible right now, at the rate i'm going.
and i haven't really started studying for Stat, not to mention Bio and Lang.

oh yeah. and because of all of this cramming for AP exams,
i'm gonna have zero time to study for the SAT IIs this upcoming saturday.

lovely.

Oh god, tests are 1 week away, but my Chem teacher hasn't done any real reviewing for AP.
Anyone has a recommendation for a good APChem test prep book that can help me review everything?
With CalcBC, I don't really need a prep book, but I'm not at all confident with Chemistry mellow.gif

That's exactly my situation right now. And my APUSH teacher also wants us all to take notes on all 43 presidents by Wednesday. x___x
