How similar is the material on the SAT II to the AP course?
Would it be okay (like get above a 700) to take the SAT II with only 1 year of the course?
Like..I'm planning on taking the SAT II for Chem but since I'm planning on taking AP Chem in senior year, I'm forced to take the subject test before I actually even take the course. I'm planning on taking a course outside of class so I wouldn't be as clueless. =/

i know about chemistry, not physics.
the material is pretty similar.
if i were honest, u don't necessary need ap chem although it would help you a lot if you did take it. but since ur a senior, i would suggest you get a chance to study the material for SATII Chem (i.e. get Princeton) and study as much as possible. get a practice book and study!
my proof: my friend who didn't take ap chem had a higher score than me (he got a 690, and i got a 620, but ohwell). but then again, i might have made some stupid answers, but u get what i mean. u don't necessarily need ap chem. just study as soon as possible before the test. but then again, this month's test wasn't THAT hard, i just made some clumsy mistakes maybe (i.e.: TTFCE sec.)

I'm not taking AP Chem next year but I want to take the SAT II for Chem...and I would have to take the SAT II before I even take the course cuz I'm taking AP Chem in senior year. =/
I guess my only choice is to take a course next summer before the SAT II. =/
Thanks for your help!

They also mail scores out. Someone told me they mailed them out today, but I'm not sure if he's a reliable source haha.
I don't feel like spending $8 to call, so I'll just wait patiently for my AP Chem score.. :]

Most people from my school got our scores today, so you'll probably get yours in the coming days.
