its about 3 weeks into school & my teacher seems like she.... only sits. and says sarcastic, mean things to us.
we had to do a lab the first day of class..and the actual AP lab online was explained in over 4 pages... she condensed it to 4 bullets. wtf.
we dont even have our own textbooks cause they went MIA around the school, she says -_________-
..we have a class set of 10 so we all have to share books just to do hw problems..freakin ghetto. and she doesnt teach cause she wants to 'see how much we know' about all this stuff.. o_O i think about 2/5 of the class dropped out already cause of this..

I also did AP Comp Sci 1&2. That was definitely a challenge, but, as long as you work hard [like one should], then it was okay. XD

Please do not drop your class. I'm not saying that you will, but I have been telling some junior friends of mine all week, "DON'T DROP YOUR AP CLASS" because they're freaking out about failing. All of us in this thread have gone through the pain that is the first AP class and tests, and we survived it.
yeah, i was one of the people who dropped ap lang and comp., and this was all during the first week of school. luckily, my friend talked me out of it and i managed to keep the class. i think it's because this is my first ap class i'm taking so i'm kinda freaked out. it's not too bad although i feel like i'm the only one in the class having a hard time D: my teacher's good though so thank god for that.
i'm a junior and ap lang. is my first ap ever. i was supposed to take ap psych and ap ush but due to some circumstances, i can't take it until next year...and that ruins my whole schedule i planned out ㅡ_ㅡ i feel like i'm behind because most juniors already took like 4 aps at my school. crazy...
man, i hope i get better at this.

i have a 5 page book review and i want to read about the Peloponnesian War (need to read about events from 4000 BCE to 1000 AD).
any advice on how to read an AP world hist text book in 3 months?
my teacher told me to read it like you would a mystery book. read the first paragraph and get the thesis and then read the conclusion and then read the middle to get the points.

Seriously, Pre-calc Honors last year was such a breeze. I got 100% and 97% without much effort.
This year I'm currently at a 78% and the book makes no sense. Need to get one of those guide books >.>
