As for Calculus AB, it just got a little harder. More than half of my class failed our midterm exam on Wednesday, but luckily I passed with a B. woo! I wished I had an A though cause math is my strong subject.

Now... he made it seem like it was the world's hardest thing to pass and that the AP tests are crazily hard.
Is it true, or is he really just scaring the heck out of us?

ok so i take APUS hist. and I HATE THE AP QUESTIONS. ARGH. SO. FREAKING. ANNOYING.
ok, the ones i hate most and (almost) always get wrong are the ones that say something like:
blah blah blah did the following blah blah blah EXCEPT:
a)answer 1
b)answer 2 (almost identical to answer 1 except for one word)
c)answer 3 (ALSO resembles the first 2)
d)answer 4
and the second type of questions, the ones that involve ROMAN. NUMERALS. WTF.
does anyone have any sort of way to study for these kinds of questions?

My teacher, he's actually like this 'famous' sorta person on Bio, like he wrote
textbooks and found new things on science and reported it and what not
he's an ok teacher, but def not the best.
I do read the chapters, but it just isnt STICKING in my head for some reason
and most of the stuff i know for bio is everything i magically remember from freshman year
any tips to help get it stuck in my head better?
Ive got that 8LB orange AP Bio book, and i also got a 5 cliffs to a 5 book for bio as well

DEFINITELY start studying on your own. You're going to have to be done with all 55 chapters by the end of April, cuz the AP exam is in the first week of May. Right now my Bio class is on Chapter 27...and we're going at the pace of around a chapter per day. =/

Our school starts AP Physics on the second half of the school year, so I need prep book recommendations fast.
So far, I heard AP Advantage was a good book.

I crammed with the yellow w/black stripes Cliffsnotes last year and got a 5. Considering my teacher never really taught us anything or took the class really seriously, it's a pretty decent book for some self-studying/cramming.

uh, Princeton Review? iono if it's good or not since I'm not taking AP physics, but the teachers at my school require everyone taking AP physics to buy one
BTW, anyone know of any decent AP Psych sites(not books...)? like those with the really nice comprehensive review/cheat sheets to download ;D ..I got a couple for APUSH last year, so I was wndering if there's any for psych

i don't know much about ap physic c, but i bought this prepbook called
5 steps to a 5 for AP physics B&C (MCGrawHill). it's pretty helpful, since i barely pay attention in class.
or princeton review. classic.
didn't bother to buy princeton review because my friends 'll probably end up buying one

For AP English 3 Literature- >__> My teacher really..really..really sucks. We've learned almost nothing for the AP testing, and I'm really starting to get worried. Does anyone know any resources in which there are any tutorials, or anything to help? Especially on the essay portion >__< I'm still struggle analyzing and writing my own analysis essays.
Any replies would be greatly appreciated.
I'm in AP US History and i'm supposed to read chapters 27 and 28 this week. My class is behind like 30 years or something because we had a student teacher the first semester.
My AP English literature teacher is supposed to be the best from what i've heard but i'm not improving on my essays like i haven't passed one yet.
Does anyone sometimes get doubts that they wont be prepare when the AP test comes around?

the only thing i can recommend for AP bio students is to READ THE BOOK. seriously, this applies for all AP classes. i got a five on the bio test, and studied for barely an hour and a half. its easy... if you read.

Can anyone help me come up with some thesis?
Prompts:
1)Cavour proved master of Realpolitik during his leadership of the unification of Italy.
2) Bismarck proved master of Realpolitick during his leadership of the unification of Germany.

AP Physics is not easy. How could it be as easy as Stats, unless you have any idea what you're doing for triple integrals??!
I'm taking both at the same time... and Stats is blow-off, while Physics is NOT blow-off AT ALL. It's a killer course.

Now that we're in art that has a specific style, it's easier to remember the components.
But gaah, the artists are beginning to add their names and I can't even pronounce them.
Lucky me, I got B+/A- on my semester final in that class. Reading helps!
(having people in the class before tell you the main things to remember helps too
I don't know if I want to take the AP exam, but eh, we'll see how I feel in the coming months.
Has anyone here taken the exam before?
