Yea, so my cousin just got a new MAC and she can't access the internet since there's another computer that already is hooked up to the Linksys router and that router has a password. Now, the problem is we don't know the password- forgot it. So how do we reset the password? I mean are there any way to reset the whole program and start from the beginning?
Thanks in advance.

download the manual!
=\ if I recall correctly... most of these devices can be factory reset by holding down the reset button for 15 seconds.

Yup. There is a little reset button on the back. Many times, the manufacturers do things a little different with that button, but the tried and true method for all routers is to unplug the router, press and hold the button, then plug the power in and hold it for 10-15 seconds.
It will reset everything though..

I changed the routers password, and I forgot what I changed it to. Is there anything I can do?
Answer
Hold the reset button on the unit for 30 seconds or more and the router will be restored to factory defaults. This also means that your configuration will be set to factory defaults also, so if your router is configured for your ISP you may loose your connection until you set the unit up again. The default password for the router is admin in lower case letters.
