I fully 100% agree with you. I detest a lot of the TW styles i've seen and anything that has ruffles, frills or lace. I can't even stand heels in a casual-day outfit. IMO cutesy looks =
I actually think that leggings have become quite a staple - I mean they help detract attention away from a super short dress and they can be worn with a long dress...

Yup, I agree with you. That's why we should get rid of flats, skirts, shorts, and tank tops. Cuz everyone's wearing them. OOKKK that was mean. I kiddd.
I think cutesy looks are okay but certain ages should only wear certain types of "cutesy." TW cutesy borders on teeny bopper - OH EM GEE LOOK AT ME I WANT TO ATTRACT PEDOPHILES - type of look.
@everyone - what the hell are fobby fridays??
@TiNGxx2 - thanks! Really though, fobby fashion isn't about the right articles of clothing - although it helps a bunch. You just have to have an eye for things and know how to put them together. Of course, that goes for everything in "fashion", but fobby fashion does it in a cute, feminine, unique way. I don't know how to explain it so I'll shut up now.
Since everyone is looking to winter already. Wow, we're even ahead of the designers now aren't we?

Yes speaking of leggings, if you're going to wear it like this, make sure you don't have XL thighs cuz no one wants to see that. This outfit screams "I just got out of bed and have 10 minutes to get ready but I can still manage to dress stylish because I'm a zipia model." Uhh yea.

Exactly the short skirt + long shirt thing I was talking about! I'm more interested in the scarf pairing though. That's a pretty creative idea - wrapping two skinny scarves together. I never really got the point of skinny scarves anyway.

I'm actually not very fond of this outfit. I just like the knitted scarf thingymajig. I've always wanted one of those + learn how to tie them. Anyone know both answers?

This picture's tricky. At first you're like, "Wow, that's really long leggings." BUT THEN, AHA! It's actually leggings + legwarmers. Oh sly aren't you? That's what makes it look so cool - the legwarmers with its ruffled look, and it actually makes sense to wear it like this in the winter or if you're just going to wear those long white ones like the Japanese school girls, you'll freeze to death.

Does anyone else think this girl really looks like the uglier version of Hyori? This looks like a really practical and warm winter outfit. And those jeans are <333

This outfit is really tricky because I think if she weren't standing to the side, it'd look really weird. I think she'd look like she had a beer belly from that flop thing from her dress. YADDAMEAN? For belts at the hips outfits, you have to pretty small hips. Trust me, I tried T___T

Yea, they definitely stole the armband idea from Mr. Hitler, who, by the way, was a VERY snappy dresser. I mean c'mon. Just look at them Gestapo outfits! By the way, I noticed those hats have been worn in some of the pictures, do you guys normally see people wear those around? They look pretty nice but it's hard to pull off - like with lots of these things <___<

BWAHAH! Being skinny did not pay off for once! She looks like she's a little girl wearing her grandmother's size 12 boots... Or is it just me? Yea, her legs are way too skinny for those boots. Maybe if they weren't knee-high...

Again, these models are just workin' those leggings. But... who the hell stands like that? I swear after that picture was taken, she probably fell because she's so fat.

THIS IS MY FAVORITEST [iknowit'snotaword] OUTFIT EVERRR! The boots... the boots...

I was going to save these for later but I lurve Ryeo Won so much I had to throw it in this batch. WOW. I will not stop looking at you if you walk down the street with this outfit. And this is coming from a completely kindof straight girl.

Leggings aren't out yet - as you can see in all my pictures ;D Giordano AF. You have to have balance, and the tight leggings definitely balance her oversized jacket. Yea, Jessica Alba should take some lessons from Ryeo Won's stylists.

GOSHDANG. I never saw black and white look so sexy together in an outfit. Besides that time when I wore you know that thing with that thing and that other thing. Yea. I'm done.

dear mai have a sense of humor; I was merely joking about the design corner. Why would I have a design corner when I could have a design ROOM ?!?!?!?! MUAHAHAHAHA !! as for "armings" dear ...
I call them gloves. (or armwarmers) ... or SLEEVES! but hey, that sexy evening gown glove look ?? LET'S BRING IT BACK!
edit: oh yeah about the black and white look. are you serious sister girl you did not just realize they look hot together. it's like
classy + sexy = BAM!
black + white = BAM!
black&white = classy& sexy
actually since it's such high contrast I prefer black and cream more though

even though these first two aren't from asian sites/onlines stores, i find that they sort of reminded me of asian-esque fashion:

-from satorialist blog - okay, not really an outfit, but i'm willing to bet my week's wages that whoever wearing it is asian...usually i'm not into peacoats, but i LOVE this coat and how its worn (minus the ugg boots - i hate ugg boots)

-from satorialist blog (i love this blog) - ok, not the most asian thing, but i like the layering and esp. the brogues (fully looking for a pair of those)

^this is the reason why i reckon skinny guys should always wear skinny jeans - they are just oh so flattering on them. I really like the fact that these two outfits are simple, yet they have an individual touch. I mean individuality basically sums up fob fashion IMO - there's no set ways of wearing clothes.

LOL
Glamour should have the girl who does the "would you dare" column wear fobby clothing like this to see how people would react.

They're so cute. They don't really sell much here in California.
But I found similar ones in Forever 21.
^ that's so true. I'm still thinking about how I want to get mines done.

I LOVE IT!! Wow! Do you know where it's from? I took a glimpse at the blog so I'm assuming the coat is designer? >_<
Btw, hikkilurver, when this thread was created a long time ago, people came up with Fobby Fridays, where we pay homage to fobby clothes on Fridays xD
