Hello guys, I'm going to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore this summer, I was wondering if anyone could recommend me nice shopping districts (with affordable fob clothes ^^) I'm not asking for specific shops, just the shopping areas... Thank you!

well for kuala lumpur, theres a shopping centre with lots of little shops in it.. i think its sungei wang?
i found about 3-4 shops with such nice clothing in it ^^~!! one of them played big bang music too i was so happy~
other than that, nothing else really appealed to me..

i find that the major shopping centres like megamall, etc are composed mostly of shops like FCUK, ELLE...(surf brands are getting really popular too, like billabong, roxy...this was about 2 years ago, LOL)
the style of clothing in those shops aren't exactly fob, but occasionally you can find really nice jackets or tops there ^^

so i suggest going to places with little mini shops, those are my best bet (dont rely on that though~!)
sometimes the clothing material is not so good, but i guess you get what you pay for (its really cheap)
just explore and you should find plenty, go everywhere and walk around ^^ then you should be fine

dont know about singapore, but my friend from there has really nice clothing so i think you should be fine there too
i havent been to kuala lumpur in AGES so maybe you will find more than what i did, good luck! (used to live there, but thats what.. 5 years ago?)

oh and be careful dont go anywhere alone! you never know what'll happen these days.. my dad said its really dangerous over there now so stay safe!! (a little off topic but yeah :x )

erm..if your looking for clothes more to japanese style...sungei wang is the place to go and maybe petaling street?hehe they have this shop that sells really cheap j-dramas, k-dramas and anime and they are original...idk about korean clothes though...for branded stuff and what not you can visit the big malls like Sunway Piramid, Megamall, One Utama, etc etc..

btw...are suspenders really popular in korea right now?
i wanna get those short pants and suspenders so badly but so hard to find...
anyone know any good place in KL or Selangor,Malaysia to get korean styled clothings?

you do know that "fob" style is just a reproduction of "white" fashion right? Most of their clothes are ripped straight off of American catalogs and runways. Its just the way they put it together might appear different.
