1) the school look- blazers, school emblems, etc. I don't know whether that was inspired by BOF or not (I read somewhere that the guys are getting into this look now)
2) the "cake" look- Tiers! lots and lots of tiers, kind of reminds me of layers of cake (one-peice dress, skirts, etc.)
3) bows are still in I think?
4) stars- you will see the whole star print on shirts, dresses, layering skirts, etc.
5) plaid/checkered print- I think that's still in right now? I see it in a few Korean sites and also this print on shoes O_O! very cute~
6) flower prints- little flower prints on clothing are defin. in for spring~
7) transparency- see-through on your whole shirt, just the sleeves, etc.
8) elastic bandings on waist- giving you a cinch around your waist

I know. Some models weigh 50kg which is like 100lbs. I was fatter than them when I was 8. I might've even passed them at age 6. The styles are way cute but I don't think they translate well on my body type.

u find what i say offensive eh? well, get this... i'm actually vietnamese and i hate how viet fashion and the whole entertainment industry is a rip from korean/japanese/taiwanese styles. as i said before, copying once in a while is okies, but to do that ALL is a big indicator of no originality.

when i said "not natural" i mean that the pics when the girls are modeling outside on the streets look like they're forced to pose that way whereas with korean pics of models modeling outside on the streets look more like the models aren't forced to pose (i.e. "natural").

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... taiwanese/japanese fashion is definitely not a rip from european fashion. korean may be but not tw or japanese. cutesy fob clothes isn't a european trend.

Well Get this, I'm Vietnamese too. I don't like being Vietnamese sometimes, I'm not going to lie. Vietnamese guys aren't the prettiest thing either. But I, at least have some pride in our culture and some of our fashion. Vietnamese fashion doesn't copy all of the Korean trends or styles, nor do they copy all of their entertainment industry. If we are talking about ripping off things from other countries, I'm pretty sure Korea Japan and China has had a fair share of them. E.g. America / Europe / Even some Korean Boy Bands remake German Songs. I also disliked how you said it's in every single picture. Which is untrue. I haven't seen a Korean style picture of a girl painting in the middle of the street.

Nor do I like how you degraded Vietnamese fashion. It' annoys me.

i mean, it's okies to copy from time to time but this is in every pic o_O

"Not Natural", I think you're opinion is biased to begin with. If you already hate the fashion, of course you're going to think it's not Natural. I can probably backtrack a few pages and find some Korean pictures that don't look natural. You're Generalizing too much, especially to say all the Vietnamese style pictures are not natural.

Not all Soompiers are Korean Wannabes. I'm not here because I want to be Korean, please don't assume. I'm here because firstly, I love the Suju thread--because they're adorable. And this Forum is the most up-to-date, high-tech Asian forum. And nice on the Eyes forum, pretty. I don't like being regarded as a Korean Wannabe.
