T_T I was totally nervous at first AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
But when I started driving, I was cool and calm I thought I did GREAT!!!! Maybe only the stop signs, I break too hard. I thought I mastered the changing lanes!!! >.< When we're back the guy failed me because I didn't look at the mirrors, but I swear I did...just because one of the critical error " Dangerous Maneuver" Dx...I DIDN'T PASS DX....

My next appointment it on the 28th is that too soon to take it again?

ill take note on dat.. ill look at the mirror for like 5 seconds then XD and get the instructor to notice my "move"
and i think taking it again on the 28th isnt bad.. cuz u had like 1 mistake and you know what to do next

yea u really need to exaggerate anything you do. When I was learning, I remember the guy telling me to look at the mirrors not just with ur eyes but with your whole head so they see. and stop at the stop sign so that you can read it through the passenger side of the windshield, count 5 sec. then go if its clear. oh yea.. Just take your time. if you rush, u probably won't do well.

Don't worry about it.

Like jphase said, you really have to give everything 110% out there. It doesn't matter if YOU think what you did was alright, it all depends on whether or not the person testing you SEES IT and acknowledges it. That means you have to really look around both ways and make sure you look ALERT, but not nervous. Imagine you are the testing person and you have to get into the car with a complete stranger. If you're nervous, you'll make the tester nervous too.

I checked the weather for my area on the 28th and it's going to be rainy on the 28th OUCH!! So I have to be more careful...I never drive in the rain before, is it the same like a dry day?

well, it's an automatic fail if u don't look over ur mirror+over shoulder (it goes look to the mirror and then over ur shoulder).i just pretend i was lookinng over my shoulder. the 5ecs doesn't work it's atleast 2secs. the instructor wants ur focus to the ahead of you. u cant just stare for 5 secs on the mirror/over urshoulder (thats plain dumb). try counting 5 secs looking over the mirror and see how u feel about it.

the 28th is alrigt, atleast now u you know what u have to do and not be nervous. you don' have to exagerrate also, just be attentive on what u to doand what the instructor wants.

of yeah if its raining and your wiper is on, make sure your headlights are on. well here in cali, they made a law last year, that if ur wiper is on you have to have your headlights on.

my car was going downhill and the speed got up to 58km/h instead of 50 limit for 10 freakin seconds

actually yea..blatantly check your blind spots (most people's mistakes) including me


re did the exam 3 weeks after and got it

It's more or less the same,except ppl driving around you might be a lil weird, hahaha. Just make sure you go a little bit slower than you would on a sunny day, exaggerate all your moves to make sure they notice what you're doing. Do your shoulder checks whenever you turn or lane change, more than what you would normally. And don't just rely on your mirrors for changing lanes.

^i never learned about blind spots till AFTER i got my license...and i learned it the hard way, not in an accident but a close call

yes blindspot is a killer, especially on a rainy day & foggy(in and out of the car)

yess it is all about exaggerating.
my neck still hurts from looking over my shoulder.
I exaggerated as much as I can.
the only part I missed was looking left and right throughout intersections.
I did it too late. you're suppose to do it before you leave the stop sign/light.
I was 90% sure that it was going to rain yesterday b/c it rained in the morning
but it didn't rain when I took it. I prayed. so you should pray too. I will pray for you. x]

I took the road test 3 times and on the third time i passed it, i did good driving the first 2 times, but honestly its how good a mood your instructor is in. The first 2 instructors of mine were real b*tchy so they failed me but the third was real nice. So hopefully you get a nice instructor next time.

i failed my behind the wheel test twice.

first time, because i was too nervous.

second time, because i was too arrogant.

third time was a charm... just mix the nervousness and arrogance and all is well and calm.

I failed all three times. It was so unfair.

The first time I failed because I turned left on a red light, but the red light was like, on the other side of the street so I was like D:

The second time I had this really racist lady and she failed me because we were on a neighborhoos street and I was driving on the left side because there were cars parked on the right, but apparently I was supposed to drive THROUGH the cars..?

So I took it a third time and failed because I didn't break enough.

So I called in on the second lady and got another test (with the head of the freaking BMV's!!) and failed again because this time I used the break too much. D:

I mean really.. wtf.
