They're tall, which means larger bone structure, despite being skinny.

mandy moore so does not look like a size ten. she put on some weight since she debuted, but she couldn't have gone up that much. i just saw her in because she said so, and she looked like a six at most o_o. and no offense, but raven doesn't look like a size 14. she seems bigger.

a big part of it depends on your bone structure.
If you're tall(Mischa) you tend to have larger bone structure, despite being stick skinny.
