Sooo i've been using 10% benzoyl peroxide on my pimples for about 3 days...and i have yet to see any "real and noticable" improvement.

have you used benzoyl peroxide and consider a miracle cream?

if so, what brand and what concentration?

if not, what fixed you pimple problem!

my pimples are appearing along my jawline....eugh. disgusting, about 8 on my right side and 2 on my left.

any pimple-fighting tips are welcomed.

for me its some-what a miracle cream.

I put it on before i go sleep and before i apply BP i wipe my face with toner, someone said it helps dunno if thats true. For big spots yu have to place more-than-usual on it to take effect.

The one i'm using is called..... 'Panoxyl - Acnegel 5%'
i heard 10%-15% isn't good as the weaker ones o.O dunno if its true aswell.

ooo try using a product with Nicotinamide, known to be anti-inflammatory + contains vitamin b3

^ yu joined soompi on my b-day lol (llee10789)

newayz umm, yu don't need a prescription for the product but its from ireland & im in london so i doubt its gonna be in the US as its not even well known.... Yu can just try another, but 5% or less, Oxy? i use to use that one.

about the nicotinamide...... i found out by luck, just saw an ad for it when i was queuing up for something, the one i bought is called 'Freederm nico....4%' this ones from the UK, again sorry -.-

Yu can also try Aveeno clear complexion? Someone posted up a thread about it, apparently its really good I havent tried it yet, maybe i should get one.

It's pretty effective if I put some on RIGHT when I feel the pimple forming under my skin. It's not that effective for me against the bigger pimples but for the smaller sized ones it usually takes care of them in a few days. I use Zapzyt 10%. It's pretty strong but my skin's used to it and it's not that drying for me. If you get those bigger bumps (called pustules/papules), tea tree oil might be better.

it doesn't help much. >.<
I hate it, I think it makes my skin react and causes me to break out

i use 2.5%, it works better than the 10% for me, and it is no where as near irritating as the 10%
and yes it does work, but you have to be consistent to see improvements and remember to moisturize after, cause its pretty drying

I use Erythromycin and Benzoyl Peroxide (5%) Topical Gel. I've been using it for more than a year. I still get pimples occasionally (once a month), but it has definitely cleared up my face. Some negative things, it leaves your face dry if you don't use toner and once you stop using it, pimples will start to develop again.

I used Benzaclin and man that stuff was good. I was acne free for two years and I only used a dot a day. Expensive though.

i use 10% clearasil bp to maintain my skin..i only apply it at night..the next day for morning-i make sure i use a moisturizer so my skin wouldn't dry...well for my situation, i used retin a micro before (this did wonders for me)..since i don't have that much pimples, i turned to OTC clearasil bp..n im satisfied with it since it helps prevent future breakouts.

i am angry of myself because i can’t move forward unless i hide my feelings
i just realized that when i meet you i can’t just close and throw my heart away

Instead, i use produces with salicylic acid in them
does that mean salicylic acid is gentler?
