the language bar, which looks like this..


doesn't seem to like Korean. Sometimes when loading up windows and then switching to Korean, the bar would have the option to switch between hangul/alphabet and other input. Other times, all these options totally disappear (usually during the same sitting). any idea what causes this and how to prevent it? All the other language options, such as Japanese, doesn't give me this problem

I think I know what you're talking about. So based on what I think (lol), whenever that happens, restore your language bar (right click on the EN thing and there should be an option). There choose Korean and the options should appear

yeah, i tried that numerous times.. unfortunately it's still missing even there

yep, input still doesn't show up. now you can see how it frustrates me, I really am lost on this one

Well there's always other options...like...installing a seperate IME program. But it's more hassle cuz all you need is to type Korean
