Not only that, there are ton's of young guys in Cali who go and bust their nuts just to get a loan and get a BMW or something.... not only that, but half the time those guys get automatic bimmers.... whats the point of getting an automatic bimmer. Yet they live in like a trailer stated above.

Its really sad. Its the X generation? Y Generation kids that were raised to expect things? Then they don't have the patience for delayed gratification. I think its these kids who want to flaunt money. People always want what they can't have. In the case for people who have no money... the lavish rich life style.

lol it's california. 19 year olds drive M6s and mercedes all the time, especially in downtown area. If you ever take a trip to Pasadena, you'll see that the people either live in gigantic houses that are hidden behind a billion trees and shrubs and drive toyotas and hondas, or people who live in smaller one story houses with porsches and mercedes in their driveways.

Exactly, kind of like Palisades Park, NJ but they rent $7.5M condo's and roll around in leased Porsche Cayannes.

imo lease sucks. i remember 8 years ago when my family first came to u.s. and my dad had no job, we leased toyota camry.... such a hassle.... after he returned it, 2 more bills came after like a month requesting my dad to pay for the damages, break pads, etc.... never leased ever since...

sigh, im kinda disappointed at the fact that Koreans established themselves as posers lol (biting more than they can chew). But I guess that's how it is....

Leasing is definitely not for everyone, especially not for those that use it to buy cars beyond their means. My family and I have had good luck with a few leases though. I leased a Tacoma for a bit, and it went great with no hicups or hidden charges at all. Plus, I didn't have to feel bad about towing things that I probably shouldnt have and worrying about how that may damage the drivetrain over the long run. Some leases are definitely bad though

my parents bought me the bmw as birthday present for my first car and i bought the gx470 (35grand straight cash and rest loaned it) myself from stock money. If was suppose to be a present for my mother but she didn't accept it, so i drive it now. my dad drives s 550 and my mother drives e350. so no, those are not my parents car. don't put me into the stereotypical perspective.

This car is more than I can ever ask for. I bought it Dec 08 for only 12k with less than 1000 miles on it and you can hardly tell it's salvaged. First pic is the week I got it, and the 2nd one is after I had the spoiler installed


My old Eclipse is the one on the far right. I took this pic at my university parking lot. I have never seen who the other Eclipses belonged to, but we parked together there every other day last fall semester xD

In previous years the wrx's trannys have been bad, but the newer GR's are better now. Obviously not as good as the STi's, but hey you would expect that from the STi compared to WRX, but they are still better than previous generations.
