Best Green Tea Ice Cream?

Does anyone know which brand has the best green tea ice cream?

The one I like most is one served at a sushi restaurant near my home, but they said the ice cream is only sold to restaurants and not to supermarkets. It's far and expensive from my apartment so I can't go there often. I've tried two different green tea ice creams from the 99 Ranch Market. One brand is Maeda-en or something and the one I'm trying now is Fubuki. I like Fubuki more, but it's still not the same or similar to the one from the sushi restaurant. Anyone know any brand of green tea ice cream that's good? Preferably purchaseable in the Orange County, California area.

the one i get is from an ice cream store @ hmart in atlanta.

It's so hard to find green tea ice cream these days. =( I only eat them at Japanese restaurants, though I'd much rather buy a biiiiig carton of it and eat it at home instead.

Yeah, I've tried that one. It's Maeda-En, I use to always buy that one but I just tried Fubuki and I kind of like it more.

all the asian stores ive been to have it. some of the more higher end american grocery stores that kinda try to be international in their food selections have it as well. (i.e. not krogers. Whole Foods might). you can kinda make your own by mixing green tea powder with vanilla ice cream.

green tea ice-cream is so hard to find here, but i had a green-tea soft serve in japan, was tasty.

They used to have some green tea ice cream on campus here, I'm not sure about the brand. I'm sure that it wasn't the best just because we don't have very good food here.

Green tea ice cream is delicious, though.

Mitchell's ice cream. It's SF based but I swear they have tubs in the Asian markets... not sure if they have green tea in the tubs though. o_O

the fubuki kind is good too....its one of the only ones i get cuz the stores dont have a wide variety of green tea ice cream...sometimes i get the mochi one

dont know many brands out there, since its a rarity to buy. i've only been able to find it at trader joe's. and its pretty good. sorry dont know the brand name they sell.
