Well, usually a successful drama is considered to have at least a 20% rating. But for the time slot Liar Game is at, a 12.3% is pretty good, actually, since it's a late time slot. It's probably because of Erika. ^^

I meant that Erika is just popular right now, so the ratings would be high. She is popular because she is in almost everything. From Death Note to the last episodes of Hana Yori Dango 2. Of course it's probably not just because of her, but it wouldn't hurt to say that it has a lot to do with it.

just finished watching episode 1~ holy crap, but i enjoyed it!!! hahahaha~ it's a nice change from all the love story dramas i've been doing marathons on

and weeee! shota is so cool...i can't wait for the second episode!

the music they're using is really funky...i like~ ^^

I can't wait to see how this story develops! I mean, at the end, the 30 days are pretty much up, right? So there must be some hitch that makes the game continue. Plus, it seems like there is something mysterious in the swindler's (Akiyama) past that will probably come to light. I just hope Erika's character stays sweet, but looses some of her naivete. I hate to see her keep getting fooled and cheated all the time!

Wow, and Shota is even hotter than Ryuhei!

A lot of people are saying this is like kurosagi... I am not familiar with the Liar Game Manga so I don't really know but it seems more like Remote. Shotas character seems to "outsmarting" his opponents as opposed to "decieving" them. Kinda fun to play along too huh?

Ack - Haven't watched a J or K drama or Movie in AGES ;0). Been spending time at the book store (remember those flappy paper things). Favs: Twilight Series (Meyer), Harry Potter, Charlie Bone, Thirteen Reasons Why (Asher), Wickedly Lovely (Marr), Blue Blood Series. Fav Authors: Garwood, Lindsey, Ward, and Kenyon.

my sister and i are hooked!

but it reminded me of kurosagi bigtime.. but i don't care~ <3 ^^; erika and shota make a good couple~

i would love to see some romance sparkling later in the drama~

I think it is more like Remote then Kurosagi. Akiyama (shota) seems to be Outsmarting them (finding clues and such) like Himuro ( Koichi ) did instead of tricking them like Kurosagi did. Well at least for the 1st ep. Anyone read the manga?

Thank goodness someone decided to pick up the project so we can all enjoy!!!

I am glad Shota's hair is a little more like his HDY2 haircut -- the haircut in the banners were a little strange...

The only similarity I see between Liar Game and Kurosagi is that one of the main characters is a swindler/con-artist. Shota's character is supposedly a genius; I hope we see more of his smarts in the upcoming episodes! I want to see him do something REALLY clever, outwit the person (or group) that is behind the Liar Game Tournament!

I just watched the first episode last night... It's really interesting.
Although at some point I find Shota looking weird with that hairstyle, but I'm loving these two cast.
I wonder how Shota will get the money off that old man.

i actually found that guy wearing a mask a little scary...when i first saw him appear to nao on the television screen, it freaked me out...why does he have to wear a mask that freaky looking?

I like it so far! Erika's character is kind of stupid, but being honest is good. Just not to the point where you're constantly being deceived like she is. Ahhh, she and Shota are so cute! Hm. Wonder who's going to fall in love first? xD
