How To Get Rid Of Fat Calves! any tips/exercises?

I'm going to stretch every morning!!
I have big calves and I hate it! They never used to be like this until I started to play soccer and they got muscular.
Then I stopped, and lets just say they're not muscular anymore xDD

well, your calves will get really toned, but not necessarily skinnnier.
but notheless, better than flabby ones ^^

i bike a lot in the summer (like every other day)
but just around my neighborhood for about 20 minutes, and my legs get really toned smile.gif
sadly, my calves are really muscular and thick so they really won't get skinnier TT^TT

agree with this. I used to have huge thighs, as well as calves. After I got a part time job as a salesgirl, i lose some fat around that around. This was because sales job requires me to stand and get stock for customers the whole day. Climbing stairs would also help biggrin.gif

But do beware about losing weight too fast, they could give you stretched marks like me.
So do use moisturiser and apply it on your thighs to prevent stretch marks from forming biggrin.gif

I do an hour of tae kwon do everyday, and I'm a black belt, so the masters won't go easy on me, especially with two tournaments coming up. tears.gif I hate my calves though, you can see all the muscle on them if I take a step. My friend also does tae kwon do under the same conditions but her legs are skinny =_=....... what can I do to make them less muscular without quitting tae kwon do? I guess I walk about an hour a day: I walk pretty fast in between classes, and I have a dog. Any other suggestions?

thanks for all the help too!! ^__^ .my claves are like skinny..and tehn tehy bulge in the middle then they curve back to my body..i hope that make sense..and yeah. i would kill for slimmer calves..im def. going to try the strecth thing thanks!!! and yeah. i wear high tops for a costume and well yeah. slim calves are better!!~

dont' overdo the exercise thing.

muscles don't make your calves look thinner...

get a clean, empty beer bottle and roll it up &down. it slims it down.

Running would make you build more muscle.
I suggest walking A LOT.
I wish i had skinnier calves. >_<

i definately recommend doing YOGA.
believe it or not, it reallllly help to tone you up, especially legs and hands smile.gif

I walk a lot like everyday..sometime 30 mins mostly 15 mins.....I don't get it. I've been stretching every morning. I have big bucky muscles on my calves. It's nasty. It bulges up when I'm walking. crazy.gif I look like I have man' legs.. Even some guys has nicer legs. HAHAH.
So slow running or fast?


And if skipping helps,.. when your skipping, should you jump on your toes. would that make a difference? and should you skip fast?

WALK, RUN, SWIM, JUMP ROPE. anything that has to deal with your legs.

Running is a good option, but run for a longer distance, pace yourself.
I remember someone posted up pictures of a speed runner (100m, 200m)'s legs, and you can see they had very big calves, compared to a distance runner.

Skipping is great biggrin.gif I <3 to skip tongue.gif

yah im trying to skinny up my calves and thigs and i thinki wat helps is jump roping... yah it may sound childish but i started jumping yesterday and my calves are sore but i feel like this is working...so just jump around its pretty fun
