I have big calves and I hate it! They never used to be like this until I started to play soccer and they got muscular.
Then I stopped, and lets just say they're not muscular anymore xDD

it's easy and fun
well, your calves will get really toned, but not necessarily skinnnier.
but notheless, better than flabby ones ^^
i bike a lot in the summer (like every other day)
but just around my neighborhood for about 20 minutes, and my legs get really toned
sadly, my calves are really muscular and thick so they really won't get skinnier TT^TT

agree with this. I used to have huge thighs, as well as calves. After I got a part time job as a salesgirl, i lose some fat around that around. This was because sales job requires me to stand and get stock for customers the whole day. Climbing stairs would also help
But do beware about losing weight too fast, they could give you stretched marks like me.
So do use moisturiser and apply it on your thighs to prevent stretch marks from forming

dont' overdo the exercise thing.

i definately recommend doing YOGA.
believe it or not, it reallllly help to tone you up, especially legs and hands

START PLAYING DDR ahaha. it may sound wierd, but it works ^^ trust meee =)
(and play until you are exhausted. I recommend you do it in the evening before you shower, and have nothing better to do =)
it made my calves bigger =(
but if you follow it up with some yoga... then it should be fine.
actually yeah... DDR is pretty good.

So slow running or fast?
And if skipping helps,.. when your skipping, should you jump on your toes. would that make a difference? and should you skip fast?

I remember someone posted up pictures of a speed runner (100m, 200m)'s legs, and you can see they had very big calves, compared to a distance runner.
