Very nice. Looks clean as a whistle.

What are your future plans for the car? Daily transport? autocross? track? show? drag?

^thanks. it's been my daily driver since 2004 and i intend to keep using it as one. it's dropped (between 1.5" to 2") on trd springs/struts, which is ideal for daily street use. i'm considering the more aggressive suspension setups to make it a handling monster, but even my current stiffness is harsh at times. i'm in a good state of contentedness with where it's at for now, which is why i decided to snap some shots. next step might be the jdm celica's in-dash navi and digital climate control.

i just said you needed a drop because the rear pic seems like it is still riding on stock springs. but everyone has different taste.

^that's a good reason to make it your first car... because they discontinued it! imagine if you bought a g35 last year... and then find out that infiniti is coming out with a redesign this year! at least with the celica, you don't have to worry about toyota coming out with a better, newer release.

if you're worried about getting a used car... i've seen dealerships that still haven't sold all their celicas. and some used ones are so low in mileage that they're practically new. also, consider getting the mr-s or rsx-s. those have recently been discontinued and should be bought soon. the next gen of sports cars are phasing out stick shifts and going toward clutch-less paddle shifters. stick shift is will become old school (well... maybe after a few years or a decade or so). but you should get a celica while you still can! (if you want stick shift, that is).

also the g can already run mid 13s stock and the hks intakes adds an estimated 10 extra hp and the exhausts add like 8 so yeah it should shove off about 1.5 to 2 sec off my times

trd exhaust is my main power mod. only thing that's not stock in the engine bay is the k&n air filter (replaces stock filter), no CAI or SRI. so basically, no. my power hungry side has been craving i/h/pfc, i'd never FI the already high compression engine. but in stock form this car isn't THAT fast to begin with and has just decent potential/response to mods when compared other cars. i don't even street race, so what's the point of trying to make it go fast? it's capable of overtaking grannies on the freeway if i need to GO, serves it's purpose as a daily driver, and looks sharp to boot. that's enough to satisfy me... for now. and i can think of other things to spend my money on. sweatingbullets.gif

you can find cheap celicas now. i got my 2000 GTS with 76K Miles on it for 10K USD, that was 2 years ago. I'm not sure how much they go for in Austrailia though :/
