Bluetooth In Laptop

hello!

i have a toshiba laptop (a newer version) and i know has bluetooth capabilities. unfortunately, i do not know how to use or activate it.
please help me on how to do it, since despite my reading of the help guide regarding this matter, i am unable to successfully send my pictures from
my cellphone to my computer. sad.gif everytime i try to connect it only says that the bluetooth is not ready. what does it mean?
i will truly appreciate if someone can give me step by step guide on how to activate/start it. thanks.

do i need a software/hardware for this one? even if its built in? unsure.gif

On my laptop, I have bluetooth enabled at all times. I had to install some hardware into it since I never knew I was suppose to do it till two days ago. Turn on bluetooth on the cellphone and your cellphone should see the name you registered on your laptop for bluetooth and start sending. When I was sending it from a cellphone, a popup comes on and asks for permission to accept or not. It worked for me so far.

anyway, you shouldn't need to install any software.

go to network to change the option. if you still can't see anything wrong with it, check the device manager to see if it's disabled accidentally.

^^ For me it did, it installed Hardware and asked you to register a name for it.
