OK...I was wondering how to transfer my songs from my refurbished, 30 GB IPod onto an 80 GB IPod that I am in the process of purchasing, without having to go through the tedious task of going through all my CDs and re-inputting the songs from them all over again.
I do have a program where it can send back my songs from my IPod back onto my PC or ITunes Library. I'm going to have my computer reformatted and so I'll have to re-install ITunes anyway, but I was curious that when I already have my songs from my 30 GB back onto my ITunes Library and PC (After getting my computer back from being reformatted); would connecting the 80 GB IPod cause any problems for me? I'd like to know if there are any.
I really do not want to go through every CD and put back all my songs again. What do I do? I need help and a lesson on the IPod. Thanks to all you who take time to read this.
P.S.: I just want one smooth and very easy way of being able to easily send my songs from my 30 GB to an 80 GB without any messiness or problems.

It should not cause any problems whatsoever, but you never know since it is the iPod and I've heard iTunes sucks. I don't like it myself, but most likely you shouldn't run into trouble unless something went wrong, e.g. you unplugged the player in the middle of the transfer.
I'm pretty sure you can just copy the songs instead of completely moving it to iTunes, but not positive about it. I'm assuming you can because it is a hard drive player.
