its called Erythromycin and Benzoyl Peroxide Topical Gel, USP
Erythromycin 3%
BP 5%
Im just wondering.. whats the difference between this one and Benzoyl Peroxide >.<?
Is BP a cream? cuz when i put on the gel (Erythromycin and Benzoyl Peroxide Topical Gel) my face becomes really stiff like i cant move my face =.=. but that doesnt matter cause i only put it on at night XD.
Do you put toners? what do you recommend?
Do you put toners AFTER you wash the gel off the next morning? or do you put on the toner before putting on the gel.
which one do you recommend? the benzoyl peroxide or Erythromycin and Benzoyl Peroxide Topical Gel
the gel is really good. hardly any pimples. some here and there at times. but it does make my face oily throughout the day when i wash it off before school. other than that theres little pimple scars T.T

It's not really a gel...it's kinda like a cream/gel thing haha. It's white in color and a bit lumpy in consistency. You don't have to use a toner, but if you want to, I suggest using an alcohol-free one so it won't dry out your skin too much. I use Shiseido Pureness Balancing Softener and I use the toner BEFORE the gel. My routine is: Wash face, tone, moisturize, then benzoyl gel stuff.
Hope that helps

Anyway, I think I used 4%? Is there such thing? I already buried my BP somewhere because it made my skin look nasty for some time. Unless the reason is that I was using the "cream" type, not the gel.

bp's too strong for you. salicylic acid would be milder on your skin. same thing happened to me. i even used 10%bp! i put it directly on those big ones. not on my whole face, of course. just when a big one pops out. but if you've got lots of the small ones, spreading salicylic acid all over would be better. i use clinique acne solutions night treatment gel. i put it all over my face. my face is back to its oily state(although not as severe as before), but new pimples don't pop out anymore.
erythromycin was what i used for whenever i got wounds from playing too roughly when i was a kid. healed them wounds nicely and with minimal scarring. i've never heard it could be used for acne. i guess you use it to prevent post scarring?
