It depends on what type of GM and what type of game, I suppose. Jobs can vary from ingame aid to players, to glitch/bot searchers, to event heads, to scripters/developers, etc. Personally, I loved being a GM, especially an ingame GM. The main thing to remember is not to abuse your powers (Literal abuse of powers and abuse of the status, being a GM does not make you superior, being the head GM/admin does however) and to put time/effort into being a GM.
