vaseline. Works wonders I'm telling you. Put some on wherever you are dry and just massage it in till it's not shiny looking anymore. I do it right after I get out of the shower.
Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won't either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have
to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or
betrayed, or left behind, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their
sweetness. Tell yourself that you tasted as many as you could." -- Louise Erdrich

baby oil is love. right after you shower, but before the wipe down <---that sounds so weird...

and waxing is good too!! omg. your skin just...glows after you wax your legs..or maybe it's the redness...

Just make sure to put lotion on your legs after you get out of the shower. My legs are like that too, but I don't care much since I don't wear shorts or skirts that often.

i'm not sure about other people,,[ like americans&other asians..]
koreans have this "hand towel" that's like REALLY rough that helps to remove dry skin sutff which is called ddae in korean. all the dry skin comes off as this chunky gray thing-_-;; it sounds REALLY gross but it works well.
putting on vaseline, lotion will just moisturize it i think..not REMOVE it..
hahaha try going to a korean store to buy those..it comes off best after you're in hot water for awhile. :]

I have the same problem...I've tried vaseline and other lotions, except when I stop use it, it still becomes scaley.

So you're gonna have to keep on applying it everyday...it's more like a temporary solution.

you need to keep yourself moisturized which means drinking more water, not taking super hot showers for too long, and using some intensive repair lotion.

omg i use that. its sooooooooooooo good.

yeah i agree with h3yjeenE. you need to scrub then moisturize. scrubbing will get rid of the flakes you have right now and the lotion will prevent the flakes from happening again. its really useless to moisturize if you dont get rid of the flakes you have right now.

i drink tons of water everyday.. in fact my whole family does but the thing is.. i take super hot showers but for some reason the hot water runs out after like 15-25 mins >.>;; so moisturizing is good? alright then! ^^

lotion doesn't do much so yuh..
^^ thanks all for advices, all sounds great.. i think i'll try the vaseline and maybe the ddae =]

you need to exfoliate, get rid of the dead skin thats alreayd peeled off
so you can use that korean thing someone mentioned, or maybe a loofah sponge
or just a body wash with those small beads that help you exfoliate

then after showering, sue a good moisterizer
I like Jergen's Ultra Healing one

i'm not sure if this might work or not but exfloliate your leg to get rid of the dry peeling? and use a good moisterizing shower gel and body creme instead of lotion.
