I mentioned previously that Soah and Moee has reinforcements >=] and here's why:

the guy with the hood and long robe thingy (looks like what Gackt wore in Oasis MV)is the Wind God...

apparently, he met up with Moora, the witch (the girl with crazy braids and a tatoo over her one eye) a long time ago in form of an animal... he's indebted to Moora for helping him once and because of that, made a promise to help Moee (who Moora loves) when he's in a tight spot, which is now...

and the doctor, i don't think is the bad guy... he seems to be just a cynical guy who stirs up some drama when he's bored... he doesn't take sides, at least for now...

what's sure is that the doctor is not on Nakbin's side... the dude named Ban-Wang who tried to kidnap Soah (who's not the emperor but an associate of his and a villain; part of Nakbin-emperor heist)failed thanks to the doctor's intervention and Nakbin's pissed off at the doc. for spoiling her plans... oh and Nakbin merely tried to kidnap Soah so that she gets chosen by Moee (he was summoned by the emperor to bring the bride of the water god but the emperor didn't specify who... so whoever Moee takes with him to the emperor will be considered the TRUE bride now >.>)

Yea, the storyline gets more and more complicated dry.gif but at least it's still interesting =O

One note to all readers: the guy that talks to Nakbin at like page 48 is NOT the emperor! the emperor wears a full mask... this dude with no pupils for eyes (scary) is called Ban Wang (romanized Korean) who can transform into a dog... remember that guy in previous vol??? he's a shape-shifter and a bad guy that acts as a liasion between the characters... you see him talk to everyone- the emperor, Moee, Nakbin, and Hooye >.>

the paragraph above the purple font in gray font says that they signed a contract to dramatize The Bride of the Water God with the producer of Goong, Hwang In Rae (dunno how to romanize the last letter of his name properly) and his company Royce Works, or however you spell it (i'm assuming it's some sort of company because the name's in quotation marks after a character that indicates possession like the preposition 'of')

But yea, I agree with retarded_sponge's comment... considering the beauty of the artwork and the depth of the storyline, making the series into a drama will be VERY challenging...

i just bought the bride of the water god set of up to vol 6 .... only when i looked at it again did i realise that it was in korean... and me being the idiot that i am am NOT korean, am gonna be soOOoOoOo lost!!!! what do i do what do i do?!?!??! GAH!!!! >O<

Hello. I just signed up!

But getting to the point...

Does anyone know when volume 3 may be released in the U.S?

and...

How many manhwa are expected to be released?
(On Wikipedia said 'Volumes: 6' and it also said 'Status: 2006-ongoing')
So I don't know if that means that there are only going to be 6 volumes or if 6 are currently out (at least in Korea).

Mmm I just read up to volume 5, but I was honestly dissapointed. it got really confusing at times and boring though the artwork is nice. a bit repetitive too

but I feel the story for the Bride of the Water God, has some very close similarities with Meru Puri

whoa yea i just re-read that actually for the third time yesterday =]
idk this plot is the same almost 2 girls 2 guys and bunches of side characters. and it's just a love drama except this one has "magical beings" inside the simple plot. unless that is the artist decides to be wickedly twisted and designs a more original plot.

even the plot is overrated i seem to still love it... cause never gets to old when you add a water god and a old legend into it, eh? =]

I read some of this manga, some time ago, so I don't remember where I left off. But I really like the drawings, they're so pretty. I hope the water god starts falling for his bride soon! ^^

You can debind it, scan it perfectly, and send it to me and sweetsmile ^_~

Anyway, here is the first chapter of Volume 6! I apologize for the watermark on every page, however that's how the raws were released. I'm hoping that garden666 will still release her HQ raws on emule, so please help me keep an eye out for those!

As always, huge thanks go to sweetsmile for her awesome translating.
