No. That is Habaek/Mui's father. At the end of the previous chapter Soah heard him playing his flute and found him and mistook him for Mui for a split second but noticed he wasn't Mui even though he looked a heckuva lot like him. So, yeah... that's Mui's father.

if the present Emperor is NOT Habaek's father since he wants to find out him real name (name which is known only by his parents)
and if the present Emperor wasn't emperor when Habaek was born....
doesn't that mean that Habaek's father was emperor then (aka now the Former Emperor).

or -just a guess here - is there another person who was emperor, someone other than Habaek's father and HooYe's father.

No. The former emperor has some bull skull as a helmet, the current emperor uses that mask on his face and has that tattoo-like marking on his forehead, and Habaek's father is just as you see him in the preview. They are three different people..gods, I mean. Hooye's father is the current emperor with the porcelain mask thing.

I just started reading this this afternoon & finally finished all 60 chapters!
I'm really confused about a few things though:

why does mui pretend that he doesn't remember suoh? Is it b/c the emperor wants to use suoh as mui's weakness?

I'm just starting on the manhwa now, and i'm so excited. If you look it up on wikipedia, it's connected to Jumong. Isn't that cool? In any case, i hear they're making a drama out of this. cool cool cool!

Yeah! I'm confused. So he DOES remember her right? Why act like he doesn't? I think it its because of the emperor that he acts like he doesn't.

Gosh, I hadn't read this in a long time and I re-read it this weekend. It's so good! But all the backstabbing..

geeeh I didn't know this manhwa has been liscened already.
I ordered a couple of books for now. (cuz manhwas tend to be abit more expensive than manga

)
so far there's been 3 books out Yay! I think they'll take forever to catch up with Korea's release just like goong

lovin lovin the story so far.

i love this manga too! i wish more chapters were out but i saw some youtube things about it and it has the manga pages so i just paused the clip and read it

The manhwa is very interesting to read. ;o
It has a different concept than the most stories out there. And not to mention that the art is incredible. +___+
