I have 26,000 for a new car. And I know a person who can give me good prices on cars. I'm thinking either a turbo S2000 or the WRX STi. Or maybe even the lan evo. any suggestions? I spent 2k on some tint, a sound system, and a dvd touch screen thing. what should i choose? all brand new.

i would choose an s2000. love that car to death. its so much fun to drive in the mountains, on the track, and just cruising around. however i wouldnt turbo it, the s2k is best n/a imo.

if you are an inexperienced driver the evo/sti would be the easiest to drive fast on the track. the s2k takes more skill and talent to drive fast. the rear end on the s2k isnt the most stable in the world, and can come out pretty quickly. most the time its pretty predictable though. if you dont have experience with rwd it can be a handful. if you do have experience with rwd the s2k is a really rewarding driving experience.

if you want turbo go with evo/sti

if you want n/a go s2k

there is no point in putting in more money into an engine that wasn't originally boosted to begin with. if it was up to me, i would observe my daily driving habits and research on all the cars before making the final buy. i like all these cars you put on the poll, but you know where i stand. this is my opinion only, but if i were buy an s2k, i would buy a hardtop for it. i hate the conv. b/c you have to take care of the conv. top.

If you want the most bang for buck, get this.

sweatingbullets.gif Not one of the poll choices, but when the car comes with over 400 hp (underrated at 390) and torque stock, it sure is a contender.

I would choose the 04 STi, then the S2000, and then the Evolution..

I always like the Sti and really is the main reason why I chose it first, but the S2000 comes in close second because it's light, compact, RWD, and a strong contender.. I drove my friends 06 S2000 and had hella fun. Not a big fan on the new Evolutions.

ur a bus ftw!!! it's Subaru spelled backwards. I'd get the STi then S2000 then evo. I like the new S2000 over the new STi's though haha. but yea. I vote STi

You can get any of these cars $26k brand new? This guy that can get you any of these cars can slap a turbo on a brand new S2k and sell it to you for $26k? Or am I reading this wrong?

Honestly, you're not going to be tracking the car or hitting the mountain roads that often right? I'd say 90% of your driving will be just normal street driving, so get something more comfortable and luxurious?

Acura TL's are nice.

But if I had to choose out of the three, I'd get the S2000. But again... $26k is alot. Especially when you consider used cars as well. Research a bit more before dropping all that money. Oh, and GO TEST DRIVE each car before you decide.

too lazy to explain, ill let the op do it since he/she doesnt know what he/she wants.

paid 27,699 for my 2004 STi last year. depends on how much mileage is and condition of the car, isn't that how usually goes? unless there is something else i'm missing, maybe location?

well its 2007 now, i've never seen an s2k thats 3 years old and brand new at the dealer. i've neer seen a brand new car 3 years old at any dealer. i suppose its possible but highly unlikely.

edit: i guess a wholesale place might have cars that didnt sell. but its not like any of those cars listed are hard to sell.
