Renee Chan, she's from Los Angeles. She released 1 album and I don't know where she went.
Evonne Hsu was born in Texas

Not Born but raised/spent a few years in America
Coco Lee, she wasn't born in America but moved to San Fran ( I think ) when she was around 10.
Fan Wei Qi I think studied in America
Angela Chang moved to Canada at a young age
Lara from NQMM.
Elva studied in Canada for a few years

That's all I know. There actually aren't many PURE American-born singers that are female.

"But this, like all journeys should be, was also a journey of the self, and I ultimately learned some intangible qualities of the human soul. A musical thread connects us, consistently from civilization to civilization. And that thread runs through you just as it does me. What patterns, and colors it will weave as the course of history plays out is only limited by our imagination and ability to dream." - Wang Leehom

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American-born_Chinese

it means American Born Chinese. Abroad born chinese was a term that came way later than the original ABC so everyone is right to assume ABC means american. sorry to burst your bubble.

Edison would count as CBC.
