no use of toning w/out cardio
If you're fat, you need to do cardio to burn your fat, because the muscle is hidden under layers of fat.
Good diet is important too
girls can't get bulky, unless you drink a big amount of protein shakes, it increases the size of your muscle

Cardio + toning.
It's really a total-body-workout.
I got some definition on my deltoids and triceps plus I shaved off a few layers of fat on my tummy.
Don't do that. It's common sense... don't do weight training and cardio together.

you're using some words interchangeably, when they shouldn't.
such as:
losing weight...aka the activity "cardio" ?
losing weight...aka decrease body fat?
losing weight...aka dieting and/or starvation?
toning...aka lifting weights?
sure, do both at the same time. 'tis be the fastest route.

Cardio to lose weight, and strengthen urself to raise your metabolism rate. And because ur meta raised, you burn more calories.
Get the idea?
