when most people walk their feet face forward, and their knees/lower legs move evenly next to each other. if a person is pigeon toed their knees inadvertently curve/turn slightly inward and as a result their feet/lower legs do the same. so when they walk they look like pigeons/birds. everyone is pigeon toed when they're first learning to walk, but, as motor skills improve, it's something that a majority of people grow out of.

I often thought that it's a bad habit and I should change it but like you guys here say "mostly asians girls do them...to make them look cute and more young" then it's no need for me to change anymore haha ^^

Luckily I'm not pigeon toed =x
I always that that term meant when girls wear the closed, sharp, triangle-ish high heel shoes, and the shoes cramp up their toes way too much that the toes cramp up together naturally if you wear those sharp shoes too much o_o

I didn't really think anything of it -- I do have to say, you can tell because the soles of your shoes will wear more on the lateral side (the outer part) because you put more pressure there. Occasionally, you trip over your own feet -..-;;

I'm pigeon toed too. I really hate it. A while ago when I was walking with a friend of mine, he asked me, "Why do you walk like that?" At first I was like, "What are you talking about?" And then he pointed out that people don't usually walk with their toes pointing at each other. I had no idea it wasn't "straight," that's how I walked all my life. And when I stand, I stand like that too. It hurts after a while, I try to stand straight, but it naturally shifts back inward.
