Constipation plz help >.<

ekkkkk ive been constipated for the past 2 weeks >.< and i know its every unhealthy but i dunno wat to do tears.gif

any ideas of how to make me poop? what sort of foods should i eat? ive been eating tons of fruit

eat some fibre. it really helps get it out.
try eating some cereal, apples, oranges, etc and drink lots of water!
if it still doesn't come out, you better go to the doctor and they'll help take the poo out by using something where they stick it up your butt and it comes out XD

whoaa 2 weeks ?! thats.. kinda serious.
eat FRUIT and VEGETABLES. they have cellulose that helps you.. get all your wastes out
and YOGURT really helps too.

you should probably go to the doctor and see if you have irritable bowel syndrome or some kind of obstruction or pelvic floor disorder or w/e since you havent been able to go for 2 weeks...

2 days, I'd tell you to drink tonnes of water, eat banana, fibres, prunes etc
but 2 weeks is pretty bad. You should go see a doctor.

are you dieting?
have you been eating?

you can try drinking tea. my mom said that helps. i think it was green tea. also prunes and bananas.

for a quick fix i recommend this herbal laxative tea


after that, make sure you eat LOTS of fruit and vegetables. eat cereal with fiber. prune juice do help a lot.

first, take some laxatives!! ><;;;;;; that is really not healthy.
i've been having the same problem lately. and i took some laxatives yesterday and pooped that nasty ddong out!
then eat lotssss and lots of fiber + YOGURT. i'm going to buy some activia later (it regulates your digestive system)

It can be a parasympathetic nervous system problem. The sympathetic side (the stress mode) is kicking in and preventing you from doing your no.2. Your digestive system works best when you are relaxed and not stressed out (ie in constant stress). This is a common problem for young people, because a lot of us are still in school/college and when it comes to midterms time (which is right around now) and finals, people are stressing out to get things done and studying like mad and its not uncommon to have constipation and other issues. This parasympathetic nervous system controls your digestion, something that works in the background, where it doesn't require your input. This happens mostly at night while you are asleep so your body can use its energy on digestion instead of other functions.

When the sympathetic nervous system kicks in during the day or when you are constantly stressed out (you may or maynot realize it), your parasympathetic system shuts down temporarily. This is a natural human/animal response, put it this way, if we are being attacked by a predator, our sympathetic nervous system kicks in and gets us to run like crazy, this is NOT the time to focus on the parasympathetic nervous system and have the body worry about digestion. If it worked that way, you'd be the feces of the predator tongue.gif!

So first... calm down, don't resort to crazy things like drinking lots of prune juice or mineral oil to 'flush' things out, as there is always a possibility that your body might not tolerate it. The best thing right now is to see a doctor and relax.

Fiber may help but may not in this situation. Fiber is something that our digestive track CANNOT digest. Its function is to prevent the large intestine from absorbing too much water from the feces and thus turning the feces rock hard and making it very tough to excrete. In the rare case of a blockage, a Barium Enema exam might be required. As a student radiologic technologist, this is something I would have to perform on patients sooner or later. Its not that bad really, no pain or heavy discomfort. All we have to do is clense out what ever you got in there and we insert a 4-6 inch probe up the rectum, inflate it so that it doesn't come loose, and we fill you up with barium contrast and we take x-rays and watch on a fluroscopy screen (a live motion x-ray) and see whats going on in there, and in some cases, the barium enema exam itself can even clear up blockages itself! smile.gif

Girl.. the only thing I can tell you is to PUSHHHH rofl. It might feel painful but the more you push as hard as you can the better it'll start coming out. Also drinks lots of prune juice and ect.. really helps.

girl, listen to me.

raspberries- 8grams of fiber per 1/2 cup

broccoli- 5 grams of fiber per 1 cup

apples- 5 grams of fiber per apple

i don't focus too much on fiber anymore since i eat so healthy, but...those things should take care of you.

OH YEAH!

black beans, kidney beans, garbanzo beans- roughly 13 grams of fiber per cup


start eating those foods, aim for about 30g per day. you should feel a difference.

if not, go to the doctors.

I just take ex lax and with in 45 minutes to an hour i'm in the bathroom, but I only use it when i'm Constipated. If that doesn't help then definately go to the doctor and find out what's wrong.
